Working with GVAP Asset Leads, Value Demonstration, HEOR and other cross-functional partners, the Associate Director supports integration of HTA requirements into evidence planning and helps ensure assets are prepared for HTA decision-making.

The role translates approved access and evidence strategies into an integrated HTA operational roadmap and escalates risks, issues and decisions to the appropriate accountable role.

The position will primarily support solid tumor assets but may be assigned to other assets by the Director, HTA Operations, based on business and portfolio needs.

  • Coordinate and track cross-functional contributions to HTA dossiers, operational value dossiers and country evidence packages.
  • Support the development, maintenance, review and adaptation of operational value dossiers and other reusable HTA evidence resources.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support integration of HTA requirements into development programmes, including trial design, comparator strategy, endpoint selection and evidence generation activities.
  • Support and collaborate with the Director, Value Demonstration & Access Evidence Strategy to ensure HTA requirements are incorporated into indication and therapeutic-area integrated evidence plans.
  • Collaborate with GVAP Asset Leads to ensure assets are prepared for both EU-level and local HTA decision-making.
  • Support regional and country access teams with evidence packages, country HTA submissions and responses to HTA information requests.
  • Coordinate JSC request forms, briefing books, review cycles, meeting preparation and submission activities.

Operations & Cross-functional coordination

  • Organize programme meetings, including agendas, meeting materials, minutes, decision logs, action tracking and follow-up.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, deliverables and submission schedules.
  • Track programme milestones, risks, dependencies, decisions and action items across assigned HTA activities.
  • Identify emerging delivery issues and escalate them with an assessment of impact and proposed mitigation options.
  • Collaborate with GVAP Asset Leads to ensure that clinical, economic and patient-centred evidence is translated into operational value dossiers and HTA dossiers.
  • Coordinate external vendor activities and monitor delivery against agreed scope, timelines and quality requirements.

Internal Expertise Building & Continuous Improvement

  • Document lessons learned and support implementation of improvements to HTA workflows, dossier templates, operational value dossier structures, trackers and collaboration tools.
  • Contribute to HTA knowledge management, training, onboarding and maintenance of reusable evidence and operational resources.

  • Demonstrated experience coordinating cross-functional projects with multiple workstreams, contributors and dependencies.
  • Strong project-management and organizational skills, including detailed planning, milestone tracking, action management, risk identification and documentation control.
