Job description

Description

 Senior Solutions Consultant

About Us

At Gifthealth, we're revolutionizing the way people experience healthcare by simplifying the process of managing prescriptions and health services. Our mission is to provide a seamless, personalized, and efficient healthcare experience for all our customers. We're a dynamic, innovative, and customer-centric company dedicated to making a positive impact on people's lives.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Solutions Consultant to serve as the technical voice of Gifthealth in front of our pharmaceutical manufacturer partners, leading discovery and solution design at the start of the partner lifecycle. This position plays a key role in supporting the Product department (inferred from the reporting line; not explicitly labeled in the source) and reports to the Director of Product, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, operational excellence, and compliance standards.

This role works alongside an Implementation Manager and Client Success. Together, you walk into the room with an open-ended ask and walk out with a clear picture of what the partner needs, how it fits on the Gifthealth platform, and what it will take to deliver.

This is a solution architecture seat, not a requirements-documentation seat. You think about the partner's problem and our system holistically, shape a solution that aligns with our platform vision, and own the technical relationship through scoping and early delivery planning. Once the solution is defined, you hand it to Product, who owns specifications, prioritization, and the roadmap. Success requires deep technical credibility, comfort with ambiguity, and the presence to earn trust quickly with a sophisticated partner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical discovery and scoping conversations with partners, pairing with Implementation and Client Success in live client sessions.
  • Own the technical relationship with the partner at the start of each engagement cycle, including architecture discussions, integration approaches, and feasibility questions.
  • Turn open-ended partner asks into a coherent solution design that fits the Gifthealth platform, accounting for system dependencies, data flows, and technical constraints.
  • Give partners honest, credible guidance on what is possible, what is not, and what trade-offs exist, and push back diplomatically when an ask does not serve the partner or the platform.
  • Build and deliver demos, walkthroughs, and lightweight prototypes that make proposed solutions tangible for partners.
  • Hand off finalized solution designs to Product with the context, rationale, and partner input needed for Product to take ownership.
  • Surface patterns and signals from partner conversations that point toward future platform opportunities, and share them with Product and commercial leadership.
  • Use AI tools to create repeatable assets, templates, and standards that raise consistency across the solutions team.
  • Partner with Engineering, Implementation, Client Success, and Commercial teams to keep solutions realistic, deliverable, and tied to partner outcomes, including retention and growth.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. (Required)
  • Licensure/Certification: None.
  • Experience: 5 to 7 years in solutions consulting, solutions architecture, sales engineering, or technical pre-sales for a software or services offering. (Required)
    • Significant direct client-facing experience leading technical discovery, scoping, and solution conversations. (Required)
    • Track record of designing solutions on a software platform, including working knowledge of APIs, integrations, data flows, and system architecture. (Required)
    • Demonstrated outcomes you can quantify, such as deals supported, adoption, retention, or expansion, with a clear view of why the work mattered to the business. (Required)
    • Experience with pharma manufacturer partnerships, including patient support programs, hub services, or access programs. (Preferred)
    • Experience in healthcare, digital pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, or patient access. (Preferred)
    • Experience working alongside implementation and client success teams through onboarding and early delivery. (Preferred)
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Strong understanding of software architecture and the tech stack, including how systems behave in practice, where they break, and what constraints they impose. (Required)
    • Ability to sit in open-ended, vague conversations with a client and leave with a clear, structured view of the problem and a viable solution direction. (Required)
    • High agency and self-direction, with the drive to move work forward without waiting for a defined path. (Required)
    • Ability to own a technical relationship with a sophisticated external partner and represent Gifthealth credibly in high-stakes meetings. (Required)
    • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. (Required)
    • Demonstrated application of the above Qualification
    • Ability to use AI tools to accelerate solution design, build demos and prototypes, and create standards for the team. (Required)
    • Collaborative problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise diplomacy while seeking mutually beneficial outcomes. (Required)
    • Understanding of client retention and business growth, and how solution design influences both. (Required)
    • Ability to turn partner signals into forward-looking insight for Product, without building to every request at face value. (Required)
    • Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturer hub services, patient support programs, specialty access programs, and digital pharmacy or specialty pharmacy workflows. (Preferred)
    • Ability to build lightweight prototypes or mockups that validate a direction quickly with partners. (Preferred)

Work Environment

  • Location: Not specified in the source job description; to be confirmed with the hiring manager.
  • Schedule: Full-time; standard business hours, with flexibility around partner meeting schedules.
  • May require flexibility to accommodate partner meetings, discovery sessions, and live client conversations.
  • Regular collaboration with Product, Implementation, Client Success, Engineering, and Commercial teams to ensure alignment.

Key Essential Functions

  • Must be able to work at a computer for extended periods
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with partners, leadership, and cross-functional teams
  • Must be able to lead and facilitate client-facing meetings, including high-stakes discovery and scoping conversations
  • Must be able to build and deliver live demos, walkthroughs, and prototypes to external partners
