Job description

About Ditto:

Ditto is redefining how data moves at the edge. Our mission is to make it seamless for developers to build resilient, real-time applications, regardless of network conditions. Whether you're in a stadium, airplane, or remote military base, Ditto's peer-to-peer sync engine ensures devices stay connected and data stays consistent, even without internet. With more than $145 million in funding and trusted by organizations like Chick-fil-A, Delta Airlines, and the U.S. military, Ditto powers mission-critical experiences across aviation, retail, travel, hospitality, defense, and more. As a globally distributed, fast-growing startup, we’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive team that reflects the wide range of perspectives needed to solve the world’s hardest connectivity problems.

About the Position

We’re looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to own how Ditto explains its products and its platform to the world.

Ditto keeps data in sync across devices when there is no cloud, no server, and sometimes no network at all. That capability shows up in places with little in common: a point-of-sale terminal during a lunch rush, a flight attendant’s handheld at 35,000 feet, and a connected device at a remote site with no coverage. The buyer in each of those settings has a different reason for caring and a different way of talking about it.

You’ll build the narrative for each product we ship and the platform narrative that connects those products into one cohesive argument for why edge-native architecture matters. Then you’ll carry those narratives through every launch — for products already in market and for the ones we haven’t announced yet — across our consumer, commercial, and public-sector audiences.

You’ll report to the Head of Marketing and work closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Partnerships. You’ll see the impact of your work in pitch decks, documentation, RFP responses, and every sales conversation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the narrative for Ditto’s Edge Sync Platform: one durable argument for why edge-native architecture wins, built to hold up in front of a developer, a CIO, and a program officer.

  • Build positioning and messaging frameworks for each product, including the Ditto Edge SDK, Ditto Cloud, Ditto Server, Ditto Propagate, and Ditto Apps. Ground each one in customer research and win/loss evidence rather than opinion.

  • Run go-to-market end to end for every launch: tiering, positioning, input on pricing and packaging, the assets themselves, internal enablement, and a defined 90-day measure of whether it worked.

  • Adapt that single platform story into three market stories for B2C, B2B, and B2G buyers, with the proof points, objections, and procurement realities specific to each.

  • Equip Sales and Solutions Engineering with pitch narratives, battlecards, demo storylines, and objection handling, then track whether those assets get used in real deals.

  • Keep a current read on competitors, alternatives, and adjacent technologies, then bring what you learn back into positioning and roadmap conversations.

What You'll Need

  • You’ve positioned a technical product for more than one kind of buyer, and you can show us the before and after.

  • You’re comfortable writing for a technical audience as well as for sales and the broader market.

  • You hold your own with engineers on architecture, APIs, SDKs, networking, and distributed systems without needing a translator in the room.

  • You get your point of view from primary research: customer interviews, win/loss calls, and recorded sales conversations. You form positions from evidence as much as from experience.

  • You can run a launch across Product, Engineering, Sales, Support, and Partnerships without managing any of those teams.

  • You’re proficient with current AI tools and models, and you use them to extend your work through automation, ideation, asset creation, and sharper decision-making.

  • You also know where those tools stop being useful: what you shouldn’t hand off and when leaning on them too hard leaves the work more artificial than intelligent.

Nice to Haves

  • Developer marketing experience, including documentation, SDK onboarding, and developer community channels.

  • Background in infrastructure, data platforms, mobile tech, edge computing, or IoT — or a track record of learning a hard technical category quickly.

  • Experience defining a category before buyers had framed the problem the way you needed them to.

  • Design range across product and marketing, from spinning up a new product page to building slides for the master sales deck.

  • Public-sector or defense exposure: program offices, primes, FedRAMP or ATO processes, and the procurement cycles that come with them.

The Benefits of Building with Us

We offer competitive salaries and meaningful equity. We believe everyone on the team should have a stake in what we’re building. Benefits vary by region to make sure you're covered in the ways that matter most. In the US, that includes health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, plus a 401(k) and flexible spending accounts.

Regardless of where you live, everyone at Ditto can utilize flexible time off. And while we work remotely, our Atlanta office is always open if you ever want a place to work or meet up with teammates.

Apply Anyway

At Ditto, we know game-changers don’t always come wrapped in a “perfect” resume. Years of experience? Every single bullet point checked? Meh. That’s not what drives us.

What does matter?

  • Grit.

  • Curiosity.

  • Adaptability.

  • And a genuine spark for what we’re building.

So if you’re fired up about our mission but not sure you tick every box - hit that apply button anyway. Use your application to show us how you’ll make an impact here.

We’re always on the lookout for exceptional humans who want to grow, stretch, and build something meaningful with us.
