Job description

Salary: $67,000 - $75,000 / year | Experience: 2–4 years | Location: Remote / Hybrid (NYC Metro-Area)

About Us

We’re redefining recruitment. Our AI platform handles sourcing, screening, and administrative task work so you can focus on what matters most: real human connection, advisory, and relationship building.

About the Role

As a Recruiter within our Beauty Client Organization, you will leverage our proprietary technology and your domain expertise to connect top-tier talent with the world’s leading beauty and consumer goods brands.

We are looking for a proactive, resourceful recruiter with a start-up / builder's mindset; someone who thrives under high urgency, thinks creatively about talent acquisition, and takes initiative rather than waiting for things to happen. You will navigate both enterprise beauty powerhouses and fast-growing  disruptor brands, placing diverse talent across creative, technical, operational, and financial functions while building talent pools from scratch to support high-volume expansion periods.

*While this role is primarily remote, being within commuting distance to New York City is preferred due to onsite requirements on a periodic basis*

What You’ll Do

  • Drive Tech-Enabled Sourcing: Utilize AI tools, automation, and VMS platforms to eliminate manual tasks and focus on candidate engagement.

  • Build Talent Pools: Proactively build geography- and category-specific talent reserves for high-volume surges and Q4 expansions without relying on passive job posts.

  • Partner Consultatively: Collaborate directly with hiring managers, Managed Service Program (MSP) Managers  and candidate networks to advise on talent strategies.

  • Cover Diverse Functions: Place talent across enterprise VMS/contingent roles and specialized creative/corporate functions.

  • Advise & Influence: Leverage high EQ and market insights to match talent, guide career paths, and expand account footprint.

  • Drive Strategic MSP Partner Engagement & Account Management: Serve as a strategic talent consultant across assigned enterprise client accounts and MSP programs, leveraging internal placement data, market intelligence, LinkedIn insights, and hiring benchmarks to deliver monthly executive reporting, advise MSP account leadership, and optimize recruitment strategy.

  • Develop Actionable Solutions: Translate research and complex information into pragmatic, scalable solutions and present them clearly to key stakeholders.

  • Continuous Learning: Stay curious about industry trends, modern tools, and process improvements to constantly elevate how our team operates.

  • Collaborate & Influence: Partner with cross-functional teams internally and externally to gather insights, align on strategies, and implement cross-departmental solutions.

Who You Are

  • Beauty & CPG Industry Insider (2–4 Years Experience): Deeply immersed in the beauty and consumer packaged goods landscape, with proven experience navigating both multi-category enterprise conglomerates and high-velocity, digital-first challenger brands. You inherently understand brand identity, creative culture, and consumer trends across market segments.

  • Cross-Functional Strategist: Versatile across key business functions including Creative Operations, Packaging Design, Digital/Performance Marketing, E-Commerce, Finance, Supply Chain, and IT and skilled at aligning cross-category priorities.

  • Self-Directed Builder: Proactive, fast-paced, and resourceful. You thrive in high-ambiguity environments, meet tight turnarounds with ease, and independently push initiatives across the finish line.

  • Tech-Forward Innovator: Eager to leverage AI tools, emerging technologies, and automated workflows to streamline operations and amplify output.

  • Trusted Relationship Connector: Possesses high emotional intelligence (EQ) and exceptional communication skills, with a proven track record of building immediate trust with cross-functional partners and stakeholders.

  • Driven Self-Starter: You don’t wait to be told what to do. You spot gaps, take initiative, and keep momentum going even when facing ambiguity.

  • Incurably Curious: You love continually learning and getting to the root cause of the situation or challenge.

  • Resourceful Problem Solver: When roadblocks appear, you don't stall, you experiment, leverage available resources, and test hypotheses until you find a path forward.

  • Solution-Oriented Thinker: You come to discussions with proposed answers, not just a list of problems.

Why Join Us?

  • Automation-Backed: Less manual resume sifting, more high-value human connection.

  • Industry Impact: Shape talent strategies for top global beauty and consumer brands.

  • Competitive Package: $67k - $75k base salary plus full benefits.

  • Generous benefits package: medical, vision and dental benefits, generous 401(k), FSA, tuition reimbursement, and more
