Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Data Steward to support data governance, data quality, and regulatory compliance initiatives in a banking environment. The role focuses on BCBS239-related activities, including resolving data quality issues, maintaining business glossaries, implementing data quality controls, and defining data lineage in close collaboration with business and technology stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support data governance, data quality, and regulatory compliance initiatives
• Contribute to BCBS239 activities, including data quality issue resolution and control implementation
• Maintain business glossaries and document data lineage
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to improve data management practices
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and support delivery using SQL, JIRA, and Confluence

Must-Have Requirements:

• Experience in data governance, data management, or similar roles
• Experience in the banking or financial services industry
• Strong SQL skills and data analysis capabilities
• Understanding of data warehousing and reporting concepts
• Knowledge of database structures
• Experience with MS Office, JIRA, and Confluence
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluent English written and spoken

Nice to Have:

• Regulatory reporting experience
• Knowledge of BCBS239
• Business knowledge of banking products, systems, and processes
• Experience with data lineage frameworks
• Experience with data quality frameworks
