AI Engineer – E-Commerce & Marketing
Location: Remote – Latin America
Schedule: Full-Time, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST
About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on AI Engineer / AI Automation Developer who combines strong programming skills with experience in e-commerce and digital marketing.
The ideal candidate can develop AI-powered applications, intelligent agents, and automated workflows that improve marketplace performance, streamline marketing operations, and turn business data into actionable insights.
You will build and integrate technical solutions across platforms such as Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, Walmart Marketplace, eBay, and Newegg.
Key Responsibilities
AI Development & Programming
- Develop AI-powered applications, intelligent agents, and automated workflows using Python, JavaScript, or similar programming languages.
- Integrate large language models (LLMs), including OpenAI and Anthropic Claude, into business applications and automation systems.
- Build and maintain scripts, APIs, and backend processes that automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
E-Commerce Platform Integration
- Develop integrations with e-commerce platforms such as Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, Walmart Marketplace, eBay, and other relevant sales channels.
- Work with platform APIs to retrieve, process, and analyze product listings, sales metrics, catalog information, and marketplace data.
- Build automated systems to identify listing errors, missing product information, performance issues, and optimization opportunities.
Marketing Automation & Optimization
- Develop AI-powered tools for keyword research, competitor analysis, product content optimization, and marketplace SEO.
- Automate the collection and analysis of competitor information, product positioning, pricing, and organic visibility.
- Build workflows that support product title and description optimization, keyword targeting, and content quality analysis.
Data Processing & Reporting
- Build automated data pipelines to collect, clean, transform, and analyze information from multiple sources.
- Develop scripts, dashboards, and reporting systems to monitor marketplace performance and identify trends.
- Integrate APIs, databases, spreadsheets, and reporting tools to consolidate business information.
Requirements
- Proven experience in AI development, software engineering, or automation programming.
- Strong knowledge of Python and/or JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience integrating AI models through APIs, including OpenAI or Claude.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and automated workflows.
- Practical experience in e-commerce, marketplace operations, digital marketing, or marketing technology.
- Familiarity with at least one major e-commerce platform, such as Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, Walmart Marketplace, or eBay.
- Understanding of e-commerce SEO, keyword research, product listings, and competitor analysis.
