Why You'll Love This Role

Innovation happens when the right people, ideas, and technology come together. At Arrow, our Sales teams connect customers with the expertise, solutions, and global capabilities they need to move faster, solve complex challenges, and stay ahead of what's next.

Working across functions and technologies, you'll build lasting partnerships, deliver value beyond products, and help customers transform ideas into real-world solutions while growing your own career in a global technology organization.

Role Overview

Arrow is seeking a Technical Solutions Architect to provide technical leadership, solution architecture expertise, and business guidance to our channel partner community across North America. This role is focused on HPE storage platforms and complementary data protection, disaster recovery, virtualization, and hybrid infrastructure technologies.

The Technical Solutions Architect is responsible for enabling partners, driving technical sales engagement, and architecting resilient infrastructure solutions that accelerate pipeline growth and opportunity closure. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to channel partners, Arrow sales teams, customers, and supplier organizations by delivering technical consultation, solution design, demonstrations, and competitive positioning.

This position requires broad knowledge of enterprise storage and infrastructure, combined with specialty expertise in one or more storage-related technology areas such as Zerto business continuity and disaster recovery, Fibre Channel SAN architecture, backup and recovery, storage replication, cyber resiliency, or virtualization modernization.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide technical enablement and architectural guidance to channel partners and Arrow sales teams in the development of integrated solutions centered on HPE storage technologies.
  • Assist channel partners with demand-generation activities including workshops, assessments, technical events, webinars, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements.
  • Qualify opportunities by understanding customer business objectives, technical requirements, recovery objectives, competitive landscape, budget considerations, and decision-making processes.
  • Lead technical sales engagements focused on discovery, architecture design, sizing, workload assessment, demonstrations, solution validation, migration planning, and technical strategy.
  • Design and recommend HPE enterprise storage solutions.
  • Design and support Fibre Channel SAN environments, storage networking, replication strategies, high-availability architectures, and multi-site data center solutions.
  • Architect backup, recovery, cyber resiliency, business continuity, and disaster recovery solutions aligned to customer recovery objectives and operational requirements.
  • Design and position solutions for disaster recovery, ransomware resilience, workload mobility, and multi-site protection.
  • Support virtualization modernization initiatives centered on private cloud technologies.
  • Develop integrated infrastructure solutions that combine storage, compute, networking, data protection, and virtualization technologies.
  • Deliver compelling technical presentations and executive briefings to partner sales teams, engineers, architects, customers, and business stakeholders.
  • Provide competitive positioning and market differentiation guidance across enterprise storage, data protection, virtualization, and hybrid infrastructure markets.
  • Collaborate closely with supplier teams, Arrow sales organizations, partner account managers, and engineering resources to drive strategic initiatives and revenue objectives.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, supplier roadmaps, industry trends, and architectural best practices.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong understanding of enterprise storage architectures, including block, file, object, and software-defined storage.
  • Advanced knowledge of storage sizing, performance, availability, replication, migration, and operational best practices.
  • 5+ years of experience designing, architecting, or supporting enterprise storage solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with HPE storage solutions.
  • Experience designing and supporting Fibre Channel SAN infrastructures.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise backup, recovery, replication, disaster recovery, and cyber-resiliency technologies.
  • Experience conducting technical discovery and translating business requirements into validated technical architectures.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, consulting, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to align technical solutions with business outcomes.
  • Ability to influence technical and business decision makers and lead discussions with engineers, architects, IT leaders, and executives.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and strategic opportunities.
  • Technical leadership and mentoring capabilities, with a self-motivated, adaptable, and customer-focused approach.
  • Industry certifications related to enterprise storage, data protection, Fibre Channel, or disaster recovery

Education / Experience

  • 7-10+ years of experience in storage architecture, sales engineering, solutions architecture, infrastructure engineering, or related technical consulting roles.
