Data Analytics & Business Intelligence

Our Vision We believe that a data-driven world has the potential to make life better for everyone. Enterprises are still struggling to use complex data primarily because real-world data is messy and cannot be put to use easily. We are bridging the gap by changing the way data is stored, processed and accessed for making better, faster data-driven decisions and data powered apps. Empowering enterprises to unleash all their data is a difficult challenge that inspires us every day. Our Team Rockset's team has deep expertise in storage, data management and distributed systems. Members of our team started the Hadoop File System project back in 2006 that helped ignite the big data movement. We previously founded and led the creation of Facebook's online social graph serving engine and graph search projects - TAO, and Unicorn - that power all of Facebook's user facing and search products. Our team also helped build the original backend for Gmail at Google. On the enterprise side, members of our team have experience launching VMware's vSAN and building the industry's first nested virtualization in the cloud at Ravello. We intimately understand data, cloud and scale as well as the challenges and opportunities it creates for enterprises.

Job description

About the Team

OpenAI’s Partnerships team builds relationships that expand the reach of our products, make them more useful and accelerate adoption around the world. The Growth Partnerships Manager will grow the impact of OpenAI’s strategic partnerships in Korea, expanding adoption, deepening engagement and making our products more useful to local users. You will own a portfolio of partnerships from onboarding and launch through ongoing performance, renewal and expansion, turning partner commitments into measurable results for OpenAI and its partners.

About the Role

Your portfolio will span distribution partnerships, product integrations, local search and location-data collaborations, and joint marketing programs with Korean consumer platforms and ecosystem partners, including messaging and super-apps. As the primary relationship owner, you will build trust with partner executives and working teams, set joint business plans, and identify opportunities to strengthen and expand each partnership.

You will work with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Analytics, Korea GTM, Legal and Policy to translate partner and user needs into action, resolve delivery challenges and improve performance. You will also coordinate device and other global partner opportunities with the relevant account teams.

This is a hands-on role for someone who combines commercial and product judgment with disciplined execution. Success requires clear prioritization, strong relationships and personal follow-through, from getting a partnership live to increasing sustained usage and adoption.

In this role, you will:

  • Own joint plans and ongoing execution for strategic partnerships in Korea, with clear milestones, owners and partner commitments.

  • Identify and negotiate opportunities to expand partnerships, aligning commercial terms, product scope, marketing support and long-term value.

  • Build trusted relationships with partner executives and operating teams; resolve issues and maintain momentum after signing.

  • Coordinate Product, Engineering, Marketing, Analytics and Korea GTM to deliver integrations, launches and campaigns.

  • Translate Korean user needs and market insights into focused partnership opportunities that improve local relevance, utility and distribution.

  • Measure acquisition, activation, repeat usage and paid conversion; use performance reviews to prioritize improvements and surface risks.

You might thrive in this role if you have:

  • 8+ years of experience in partner management, product partnerships, strategic partnerships or business development in technology, including ownership of complex partnerships through launch, ongoing growth, expansion and renewal.

  • A track record of improving partner performance and delivering measurable adoption or commercial outcomes after launch.

  • Strong understanding of Korea’s digital ecosystem, local user needs and partner operating practices.

  • Product judgment and the ability to work credibly with technical stakeholders on integration scope and roadmap tradeoffs.

  • Strong communication, commercial negotiation and relationship-management skills with senior external stakeholders.

  • Ability to use adoption and funnel data to assess partner performance and focus effort on measurable outcomes.

  • Ability to operate independently in ambiguity while coordinating distributed, cross-functional teams.

  • Experience adapting global partnership approaches to local market needs and building durable relationships in Korea.

  • Fluency in Korean and English, with the ability to lead partner meetings, commercial negotiations and written communication in Korean and English.
