Job description

Where Trust Leads, Bold Ideas Grow, and Community Thrives

Paula’s Choice, a global skincare leader founded in 1995, empowers individuals to define beauty on their own terms through science-backed products. Our mission comes to life through four core values that guide our actions, decisions, and impact:

  • Build Trust: We set the standard for skincare, transparency, and shared knowledge.
  • Be Bold: We lead through innovation and by challenging the status quo.
  • Act with Kindness: We operate with respect and care—for our customers, colleagues, and the planet.
  • Create Community: We believe in the power of connection—whether educating customers, supporting each other, or giving back, we grow stronger together.

Our team spans North America, Australia/New Zealand, Europe, and the broader APAC region, collaborating globally to drive innovation. We offer space to thrive—personally, professionally, and through our comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being at every stage:

  • Generous paid time off, including time off to volunteer
  • Learning and development resources to support personal and professional growth
  • Wellness benefits like meditation app memberships, product discounts, and free samples of our amazing products
  • Most roles are fully remote (roles that are required to be at our Seattle HQ can be found in the details section of this job post)
  • Great location – for roles that are hybrid or fully onsite, we’re in the heart of Seattle’s beautiful International District
  • Did we mention we’re a dog-friendly office?

Our culture encourages continuous learning and is fueled by connection, curiosity, and cross-functional collaboration. Whether onsite, remote, or hybrid, we stay connected through shared initiatives that bring our teams together. If you’re inspired by transparency, driven to make an impact, and eager to help foster community—we’d love to have you join us.

How you’ll have an impact at Paula’s Choice:

You'll plan, build, launch, and report on the tests that improve conversion and revenue across our DTC site. You'll run optimizations across the full shopping journey: homepage, collection pages, product detail pages, routine and regimen builders, cart, and checkout. You'll also balance conversion goals against brand standards, approved product claims, and merchandising priorities.

What You'll Do

  • Test execution: Run a steady roadmap of high-impact A/B and multivariate tests across devices and customer journeys. Tests will cover copy, UI/UX, product merchandising, offer and promotion presentation, and navigation.
  • QA and launch reliability: Make sure every test and site change launches error-free, follows spec, and is tracked accurately in GA4 and our testing tools.
  • Insight documentation: Summarize and document test results clearly and build a shared learning library that shapes future optimization and broader DTC strategy.
  • Speed and ownership: Partner with Ecommerce, Creative, and Tech teams to move ideas quickly and clear bottlenecks. Become the go-to expert on how our customers shop the site.
  • Collaboration and handoff: Work across Brand, Creative, Performance Marketing, CRM, Product Development, and Regulatory to gather inputs, finalize assets, and prepare launches.
  • Performance reporting: Build and maintain clear reports that track multiple KPIs together, including conversion rate, AOV, revenue per visitor, new-customer acquisition, and retention signals. Share findings with DTC leadership.

What You Bring

  • 8+ years in ecommerce, performance marketing, or CRO roles. You've launched tests, owned test strategy, handled QA and implementation, and partnered with leaders to bring ideas to life.
  • Experience optimizing DTC ecommerce in beauty, skincare, personal care, wellness, or consumer goods. You understand high-consideration purchase journeys where education drives conversion.
  • Hands-on experience running A/B and multivariate tests, QA'ing launches, and reporting on results with statistical rigor.
  • Comfort updating copy, layout, and page flows within testing tools (e.g., Optimizely, VWO, AB Tasty) and ecommerce platforms or CMSs. You know what moves conversion.
  • Strong working knowledge of GA4. Experience with Looker, Tableau, or similar BI tools is a plus.
  • UX judgment: you can spot friction in the shopping experience and propose improvements grounded in behavioral data.
  • The ability to balance competing priorities, such as conversion vs. brand experience, promotions vs. margin, and speed vs. compliance with approved claims.
  • Clear communication with Creative, Brand, Marketing, and Tech partners, and with senior leadership.
  • Strong follow-through and ownership. You get things done.

Success Looks Like

  • You ship high-quality tests that match the brief, on time and without surprises.
  • You catch bugs, broken experiences, and tracking gaps before they go live.
  • The test roadmap produces measurable lifts in conversion and revenue.
  • Your learnings shape decisions beyond CRO, across merchandising, creative, and DTC strategy.
  • Partners see you as the person who helps them move faster.

Competencies

  • Ecommerce-savvy: Understands DTC shopping behavior, especially in beauty and personal care.
  • Execution-focused: Detail-oriented and efficient, working with both speed and care.
  • Process-driven: Follows structured workflows and tracks everything from brief to result.
  • Analytical: Builds clear, readable reports that make performance easy to understand and act on.
  • QA mindset: Spots gaps early, from typos to misfiring events.
  • Collaborative: Brings a positive attitude to getting work over the finish line.
  • Adaptable: Comfortable shifting priorities and managing several launches at once.
  • Curious: Always digging into what's working, why, and how to do better.

Work environment & Collaboration:

  • Remote eligible position, with ability to support east coast time zone preferred.
  • Regular collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders across North America and Europe, and occasionally Asia.

What we offer you:

  • A robust benefits package including health, vision, dental, retirement and more
  • Flexible spending account, Employee assistance program
  • Fitness perks, meditation app membership and more
  • Product samples and discounts
  • Generous PTO
  • For candidates local to Seattle, we have a great location in the heart of Seattle’s beautiful International District. We also have a dog-friendly office!
