Job description

This is a remote position.

Our client is looking for a Brand Voice Copywriter who can bring consistency, personality, and clarity to every piece of content they produce. This opportunity is ideal for a talented writer with exceptional editorial instincts, the ability to adapt to different communication styles, and a passion for creating engaging marketing content.

Their business operates in the digital marketing industry, helping professional service firms strengthen their online presence through search visibility, website development, advertising, and social media. In recent years, they have continued developing their service offerings and internal systems to support scalable growth.

As their Brand Voice Copywriter, you will be responsible for developing, documenting, and maintaining three distinct communication styles: the company's brand identity, its executive leadership voice, and its internal communications.

You will work closely with a collaborative marketing team to create compelling content across multiple platforms while ensuring that every message reflects the right tone, audience, and purpose.

This position requires more than excellent writing skills. They are looking for someone who can recognize when content doesn't sound right, improve existing drafts, and turn evolving brand guidelines into consistent, high-quality communications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, refine, and document three distinct communication styles for corporate marketing, executive messaging, and internal communications.

  • Establish clear brand voice guidelines to ensure consistency across all written materials and communication channels.

  • Create engaging content for blogs, email campaigns, social media, websites, and other digital marketing initiatives.

  • Produce approximately 37 original content pieces monthly, including weekly blog posts, prospecting emails, and social media content across six platforms.

  • Write customer communications, video scripts, and other recurring marketing materials.

  • Review and edit monthly print newsletters to maintain editorial quality and brand consistency.

  • Develop compelling case studies, landing pages, lead magnets, email nurture sequences, and sales enablement materials.

  • Write and refine website copy to strengthen brand messaging, improve readability, and engage target audiences.

  • Ghostwrite executive thought leadership content, including LinkedIn posts, industry articles, and professional insights.

  • Prepare award nominations, speaking applications, and publication pitches to strengthen executive visibility.

  • Create internal communications, including company announcements, employee recognition messages, and monthly team newsletters.

  • Develop copy for trade shows and industry events, including promotional materials, booth displays, postcards, and follow-up email sequences.

  • Edit and improve existing drafts, ensuring accuracy, clarity, consistency, and alignment with the intended brand voice.

  • Leverage AI-powered writing tools to streamline content development while maintaining high editorial standards.

  • Help develop and optimize AI-assisted writing workflows that support consistent, scalable content production.

  • Collaborate with the Director of Content, executive leadership, marketing coordinators, designers, and external editorial partners.

  • Translate creative briefs into effective written content, proactively identifying missing information and requesting clarification when necessary.

  • Manage multiple writing assignments and maintain established publishing schedules without compromising quality.

  • Incorporate editorial feedback efficiently and apply improvements consistently across future deliverables.

  • Maintain organized content workflows and contribute to the continuous improvement of brand communication processes.

Requirements

  • Native or near-native proficiency in American English, with exceptional grammar, vocabulary, and cultural fluency.

  • Demonstrated ability to write convincingly in multiple brand or personal voices while maintaining clear distinctions between them.

  • Strong marketing copywriting skills across email campaigns, blogs, websites, social media, and other digital channels.

  • Excellent editing and proofreading abilities, particularly when refining existing or AI-assisted drafts.

  • Experience creating both concise, conversion-focused copy and detailed long-form content.

  • Ability to understand creative briefs, identify information gaps, and produce content aligned with established objectives.

  • Familiarity with AI-powered writing tools and the editorial judgment to recognize their limitations.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage recurring deadlines independently.

  • Receptiveness to constructive feedback and the ability to implement revisions accurately.

  • A proactive, resourceful approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

  • Availability to overlap with U.S. business hours for at least four hours daily.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, internationally distributed team.

Qualifications

  • Professional experience in marketing copywriting, brand communications, content writing, or editorial roles.

  • A portfolio demonstrating strong American English writing across multiple formats and audiences.

  • Experience adapting writing styles for different brands, executives, or stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to deliver polished content in fast-paced environments with recurring publication schedules.

Preferred qualifications

  • Previous experience writing for law firms, legal marketing agencies, or other professional service businesses.

  • Background working within a digital marketing agency, particularly on the agency's own brand and marketing initiatives.

  • Experience developing or maintaining brand voice and editorial style guides.

  • Understanding of SEO fundamentals and content optimization for AI-powered search experiences.

  • Familiarity with print marketing, conference materials, and trade show communications.

  • Experience ghostwriting for executives or supporting thought leadership campaigns.

Benefits

100% Remote: Work from anywhere in Latin America.

Full-Time Position: Independent contractor engagement with at least four hours of daily overlap with U.S. business hours.
