Job description

Are you a curious problem-solver who enjoys improving processes, exploring technology, and finding smarter ways to get things done? Generis is looking for a Business Systems Resident who is eager to learn, think creatively, and help build the systems that support meaningful ministry.

In this role, you’ll work alongside Generis’ leadership and operations teams to strengthen business processes, improve internal systems, and support the organization’s growth. You’ll gain hands-on experience across multiple business disciplines, learning how technology, administration, and strategic operations work together to help an organization serve its clients effectively.

As Generis expands its reach to more churches and faith-based nonprofits, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute ideas, solve real-world challenges, and help develop scalable systems that allow the team to work more efficiently. You’ll receive direct mentorship from the President and Chief Operating Officer, along with opportunities to learn from other leaders across the organization.

This residency is ideal for someone who takes initiative, pays attention to detail, adapts to change, and enjoys asking questions and discovering better ways to work. You’ll develop valuable skills in business operations, systems thinking, problem-solving, and leadership while helping churches and ministries cultivate generosity.

If you’re interested in the intersection of business, technology, and ministry, this residency offers an opportunity to put your gifts to work today while building a foundation for a meaningful career in church or nonprofit leadership.
