Integration Analyst

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Integration Analyst to support the design, implementation, and ongoing management of system integrations across our organization. This role is responsible for owning integrations throughout their lifecycle, from requirements gathering and mapping through testing, deployment, and production support. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with APIs, data exchange technologies, and integration documentation, while serving as a key partner to business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Ownership

• Take end-to-end ownership of assigned integrations, including analysis, design support, testing, deployment coordination, and post-production support.
• Collaborate with business analysts, vendors, and technical teams to ensure successful implementation of integration solutions.
• Manage a portfolio of integrations simultaneously, balancing active project work with ongoing production support responsibilities.
• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned integrations and maintain a strong understanding of their functionality and business purpose.

Production Support

• Serve as the first line of support for production integration issues.
• Monitor integration performance and investigate failures, errors, and data discrepancies.
• Perform root cause analysis and coordinate resolution efforts with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Document support issues, resolutions, and lessons learned to improve future operations.

Integration Analysis & Documentation

• Create, review, and maintain mapping documentation for system integrations.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into integration specifications and data mappings.
• Validate source-to-target mappings and ensure data transformations meet business and technical requirements.
• Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, and testing activities.

API & Data Exchange Support

• Interpret and troubleshoot API requests and responses.
• Review and analyze JSON and XML payloads to identify issues and validate data exchange requirements.
• Utilize API testing and file transfer tools to support integration development and troubleshooting.
• Work with technologies such as REST APIs, SFTP, and other data exchange methods.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of experience supporting, implementing, or managing system integrations.
• Experience owning integrations throughout the implementation lifecycle rather than solely supporting development efforts.
• Strong understanding of API concepts and integration architectures.
• Hands-on experience working with:
  • JSON
  • XML
  • REST APIs
  • SFTP/File Transfer Technologies
• Experience using API testing tools such as Postman, Insomnia, SoapUI, or similar.
• Experience creating, reviewing, and maintaining integration mapping documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve production issues.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in an application integration, systems analyst, or middleware support environment.
• Exposure to vendor-supported integrations and third-party software implementations.
• Familiarity with data transformation, ETL concepts, and integration best practices.
• Experience supporting multiple concurrent integrations in various stages of implementation and production.
