Position Overview

Kx Advisors, a BGBx Consulting Team, is seeking a seasoned Senior Vice President with a strong track record of leadership in business development, client growth, and firm strategy to drive continued success and innovation across the practice. This SVP role offers a senior leadership opportunity for an individual with deep healthcare expertise and significant experience in client acquisition, strategic advising, and team development. This position is ideal for someone looking to make a lasting impact by helping shape the firm’s direction and success — with a clear, accelerated path to Partner.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage deep subject-matter expertise and consulting experience to guide and elevate project delivery across multiple workstreams
  • Contribute to the firm’s broader vision and priorities by helping shape service offerings, operations, and talent strategy
  • Champion thought leadership and innovation to differentiate Kx Advisors in the healthcare strategy consulting space
  • Serve as a trusted mentor and role model for VPs, Managers, and Consultants across the firm
  • Oversee project profitability, team utilization, and client satisfaction at the practice level

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will bring 10–15+ years of experience in healthcare consulting, with a proven record of client development, team leadership, and thought leadership. They will have deep industry knowledge and a recognized presence in the life sciences sector.
  • 10–15+ years of healthcare consulting experience, ideally with a top-tier firm
  • Extensive experience in business development, with demonstrated success in building and growing client accounts
  • Proven leadership in managing multiple teams and delivering complex, high-value engagements
  • Required: BA/BS from a top four-year university or college
  • Preferred: Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, PhD, or similar)
  • Executive-level presence with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with detailed project execution
  • Passion for mentoring, team building, and developing future leaders
  • Ability to lead across multiple functions: client delivery, talent development, business development, and firm leadership
