  • Conduct day-to-day portfolio oversight, monitoring account performance, loss ratios, and exposure trends to ensure long-term profitability.
  • Enforce underwriting standards, regulatory compliance, and risk controls across all bound accounts.
  Product Execution & Portfolio Development
  • Partner with actuarial, legal, and product teams to translate market demand into actionable policy forms, coverage extensions, and specialized A&H solutions.
  • Continually refine underwriting guidelines, policy wordings, and rating tools based on competitive feedback and real-world deal outcomes.
  • Track submission pipelines, hit ratios, and renewal rates to maximize deal conversion.
 Broker & Market Engagement
  • Represent Convex US at industry conferences, broker meetings, and market events to generate leads and elevate brand visibility.
  • Maintain active market awareness regarding competitor pricing, product changes, and regulatory updates to optimize risk selection.

  • Demonstrated history of generating new written premium and executing sales plans through wholesale and retail distribution channels.
  • Comprehensive understanding of A&H risk evaluation, policy drafting, rating mechanics, and industry regulations.
  • Strong emotional intelligence, exceptional customer service standards, and proven ability to negotiate and collaborate with wholesale brokers and internal partners.
  • Tech-savvy and highly organized, comfortable working with data, web-based underwriting portals, digital filing platforms, and MS Office.
  • Practical problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and reliably delivers quality work under tight submission deadlines.
  • Asks probing questions, evaluates data critically, and solves complex underwriting challenges with sound judgment.
