Job description

This is a flexible position and has the option of working in our Toronto office full time, hybrid throughout the week or working entirely remotely within Canada.

This role is responsible for defining and guiding the organization’s enterprise architecture strategy to ensure technology investments align with business priorities, long-term objectives, and enterprise-wide outcomes. The position partners closely with business and IT to translate strategy into target-state architectures, technology roadmaps, and scalable solution designs that support growth, modernization, and operational efficiency.

The role provides governance and oversight across architecture decisions, ensuring solutions are secure, compliant, interoperable, and aligned with enterprise standards. It also leads efforts to rationalize systems, reduce technical debt, modernize legacy platforms, and establish strong data and integration foundations that enable analytics, AI, and digital transformation.

A key focus of the position is influencing stakeholders across the business, promoting architectural best practices, evaluating emerging technologies, and enabling innovation while managing risk, cost, and scalability. The role serves as a strategic advisor and enterprise-wide architecture leader, helping shape a future-ready technology landscape that supports business agility, digital enablement, and responsible AI adoption.
How You'll Make an Impact

  • Partner with business and IT leaders to translate strategic priorities into target-state architectures that support enterprise-wide outcomes.
  • Establish and enforce architecture governance processes, reviewing and approving solution designs for alignment with enterprise standards and long-term strategy.
  • Develop and maintain multi-year technology roadmaps that balance innovation, scalability, cost efficiency, and risk management, including opportunities to rationalize systems and modernize legacy platforms.
  • Provide architectural guidance and oversight on key initiatives, partnering with IT Business Solutions Consultants to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Define enterprise data and integration strategies that ensure interoperability and a strong foundation for analytics and AI capabilities.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating new tools and platforms and providing recommendations on their value to the organization.
  • Define architectural frameworks that enable AI adoption across the enterprise and lead technology due diligence and integration planning for acquisitions.

We'd Love to See

  • Proven track record delivering business technology roadmaps and managing end-to-end solution delivery.
  • In-depth understanding of cloud-based platforms and enterprise technologies, with strong knowledge of IT service delivery, governance, and compliance standards.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across diverse teams.
  • Strong project management and analytical skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and identify process improvements.
