Job description

About the RoleWe're hiring a Performance Marketing Manager to run Top Nutrition Coaching’s paid acquisition day-to-day. Reporting to the VP of Marketing. You'll own the channels, the spend, the creative, and the landing pages that TNC's growth depends on. You will be in the ad accounts every day, making the calls on budget pacing, bids, audiences, creative rotation, and what gets tested next. You are not briefing an agency and reviewing their slides.
You’ll balance efficiency with scale, meeting customer acquisition cost targets while driving new customer growth. We’re looking for someone who can identify opportunities to improve conversion rates, test with rigor, and unlock growth through smarter optimization rather than defaulting to increased spend.
About What We DoReceptive is a modern digital health platform dedicated to emotional wellness, mental clarity, and holistic health. Since our founding, we have helped over one million individuals access the right care at the right time by connecting them with trusted professionals who support their mental and physical well-being.
Licensed in all 50 states and serving more than 100,000 members each year, Receptive brings together leading brands across behavioral and lifestyle health. Our portfolio includes Pettable, ADHD Advisor, and Top Nutrition Coaching, which provides evidence-based nutrition care through virtual coaching and insurance-supported programs.
Grounded in clinical excellence and a people-first mission, we empower licensed providers with the autonomy, technology, and support they need to deliver accessible, personalized care.
Top Nutrition Coaching (TNC), a Receptive company, delivers insurance-covered Medical Nutrition Therapy through a national network of Registered Dietitians, in addition to a newly launched GLP-1 medication management service—real clinical care, billed through insurance, not a content app or a meal-plan subscription. This is a small team with real ownership. You will not be one of eight people on a paid media pod.
What You’ll Own & Do
  • Paid acquisition: You own strategy, execution, and daily optimization across Google, Meta, TikTok, and Bing.
  • Budget pacing and CAC: Own the daily trade-offs between scale and efficiency against a blended CAC target and a monthly new-client goal.
  • Landing page CRO and funnel testing: Own full-funnel conversion from ad to pageview to quiz completion and booking. Build and run a testing roadmap for landing pages, using AI-assisted page building to keep velocity high and keeping compliance guidelines in mind at every step.
  • Creative testing velocity: Drive the message × audience × format × platform testing loop, working with design on static ads and documenting insights we can continually iterate on.
  • Measurement and reporting:
    • Own the TNC reporting rhythm and be accountable for paid new clients, CAC, and funnel conversion.
    • Partner with our data team on event tracking and attribution so channel decisions rest on something more durable than platform-reported numbers.
    • Measure and weigh view-through conversions, incrementality, and cross-channel overlap in a compliance-heavy environment that doesn’t follow a traditional multi-touch model.

What We’re Looking For
  • 3–5 years in performance/growth marketing, with real depth in Google Ads and hands-on Meta and TikTok Ads experience. You've personally managed the spend—not overseen it, and not just executed someone else's plan.
  • You have DTC experience, ideally in health and wellness, telehealth, or another regulated and compliance-oriented category. Insurance-adjacent or subscription businesses are a plus.
  • You understand pacing, seasonality, and risk management on a real budget.
  • You make decisions and problem-solve with data. When a campaign underperforms, your instinct is to check the funnel and conversion signals before touching creative or bids. You know noise from signal, and when to let a test run versus cut it.
  • You've run A/B tests end to end—not just ad creative, but landing pages, funnel steps, and pricing. You've learned from tests that failed and can talk about what you did with that information.
  • You're fluent in attribution, including platform-reported, modeled, and self-reported, and you know which number to trust for which decision.
  • You’re comfortable giving creative direction. You can brief concepts, direct UGC and creator partnerships, and tell which ideas are worth producing before the spend proves it.
  • You understand unit economics, such as CAC, LTV, payback, contribution margin, and can explain to a finance lead why a spend increase is justified.
  • You communicate clearly to non-marketers and leaders who care about business outcomes, not CPM trends.
  • You’re comfortable building with AI. You've leveraged Claude Code for landing pages, generated your own ad creative, and built workflows that ship agents that do real work — reporting, test setup, the repetitive parts of the job.

Where You’ll Work & What You’ll Receive Receptive is a remote-first company. Priority will be given to candidates in the East Coast or Central time zones.
The target base salary range for this role is $130,000 to $150,000 per year, depending on experience, expertise, internal pay equity, and other business considerations.
Full-time, US-based employees are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage with generous employer contributions (Receptive covers 100% of the premium for an employee’s coverage), a 401k with 4% employer match, monthly wellness stipend, annual L&D budget, flexible time off, company holidays, and paid parental leave.
Salary: 130000 - 150000 USD per year
