What You'll Do

  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for automotive supply chain risk, sustainability, and compliance capabilities — from opportunity assessment and business case through requirements, launch, adoption, iteration, and eventual retirement or consolidation.
  • Develop a deep understanding of automotive procurement and supply chain workflows, including multi-tier supplier visibility, supplier risk, responsible sourcing, traceability, due diligence, and regulatory compliance.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on supply chain-related regulatory developments and translate requirements into actionable product capabilities, with particular emphasis on regulations and frameworks such as the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA) and EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).
  • Monitor the evolving regulatory, technology, and competitive landscape to identify new product opportunities related to supply chain transparency, responsible sourcing, sustainability, trade compliance, and operational risk.
  • Define and maintain a clearly articulated multi-quarter roadmap, with explicit prioritization rationale, sequencing trade-offs, and measurable outcomes communicated to internal leadership and customers.
  • Conduct structured customer discovery with automotive OEMs, Tier 1–3 suppliers, procurement leaders, supply chain risk functions, sustainability teams, and compliance professionals; synthesize findings into prioritized problem statements, personas, and jobs-to-be-done.
  • Develop product capabilities that help customers map and understand multi-tier supply chains, identify and prioritize supplier and geographic risks, screen supply chains for compliance concerns, capture supporting evidence, and monitor changes in risk exposure.
  • Write clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and data specifications; partner with engineering and data teams in an agile delivery model to groom backlogs, resolve ambiguity, and make scope decisions under real constraints.
  • Collaborate with UX and design to deliver workflows that users can complete efficiently at scale.
  • Partner with commercial, marketing, and customer success teams on positioning, packaging, pricing inputs, launch readiness, enablement materials, and adoption plans; support renewals, escalations, and strategic customer engagements.
  • Define and monitor product success measures — including customer adoption, retention, workflow completion rates, time to insight, regulatory readiness outcomes, and commercial performance — and use them to drive roadmap decisions.
  • Monitor the competitive and regulatory landscape, and recommend where the product should extend, integrate, or partner.
  • Represent the product externally in customer workshops, advisory sessions, methodology discussions, conferences, and industry forums.
  • Help establish the product as a trusted source of supply chain intelligence that enables customers to move from reactive supplier-risk identification toward proactive monitoring, due diligence, and risk mitigation.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Full professional proficiency in English, including the ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written form for all job duties.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in product management, preferably developing B2B software, SaaS, data, analytics, or workflow solutions.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of supply chain management, procurement, supply chain risk, responsible sourcing, sustainability, trade compliance, or related disciplines.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory requirements affecting global supply chains, like UFLPA and CSDDD, and an understanding of how regulatory requirements translate into practical supplier due diligence, traceability, screening, documentation, and reporting needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex business, regulatory, and customer requirements into clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, and product priorities.
  • Demonstrated customer research and discovery experience, including the ability to translate ambiguous, multi-stakeholder needs into scalable product capabilities.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills, including defining success metrics, interpreting usage and performance data, and using quantitative and qualitative evidence to prioritize.
  • Proven ability to influence without authority across research, engineering, design, commercial, marketing, legal, and operations stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear product narratives and present to senior internal and external audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior automotive industry experience or experience developing products or solutions for automotive OEMs and suppliers.
  • Strong understanding of automotive supply chain structures, including OEM and Tier 1–N supplier relationships, sourcing, localization, bill-of-material relationships, geographic dependencies, and operational risk.
  • Domain exposure to automotive commodity areas such as raw materials and critical minerals, batteries and cells, electronics and semiconductors, powertrain and chassis systems, or interior and cabin systems.
  • Experience in supply chain risk management, including supplier disruption risk, geopolitical risk, financial risk, sustainability risk, responsible sourcing, or regulatory compliance.
  • Familiarity with additional regulations and frameworks affecting global and automotive supply chains, such as CSDDD, CSRD, CBAM, sanctions and export controls, conflict minerals requirements, forced-labor requirements, and country-of-origin considerations.
  • Experience building or scaling B2B SaaS, data, or analytics products, including packaging, entitlement, and adoption strategies for enterprise customers.
  • Familiarity with APIs, data integration patterns, entity resolution, taxonomies, and integration into customer systems such as ERP, PLM, or supplier management platforms.
  • Relevant certifications such as CSCP, CPSM, CSCMP, CPP, or product management and agile credentials (for example, CSPO, SAFe PO/PM, Pragmatic Institute).
  • MBA or master's degree in a related field.
