About the role

We’re looking for an experienced transactional lawyer to join our Commercial Legal team supporting Stripe’s business in the Americas. You’ll work closely with Sales, Product Legal, and teams across Stripe to solve challenging problems and provide practical advice. You’ll also help improve how the Commercial Legal team works, including through the use of AI tools.

What you’ll do

  • Draft and maintain agreements and playbooks, improve internal processes, and use AI tools to help the team work more effectively with colleagues, partners, and users.
  • Collaborate with teams globally, including Sales, Operations, Product, Tax, and Risk.
  • Help the global Commercial Legal team deliver consistent, efficient support as Stripe grows.
  • Develop and deliver training and resources that help the Sales team understand and sell Stripe’s products.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for outside counsel.
