Wonderly

Computer Software / SaaS

Wonderly helps local services SMBs actually benefit from AI and triple their revenue. For 25 years, business software sold tools, not outcomes - seats, subscriptions, agencies, and hours, all paid upfront while the business owner carried all the risk. Then AI came - tech companies started charging for tokens, runs, resolutions, tasks - small & immediate outcomes. But still unclear how or if they translate into money. Wonderly changes all of that. We sell the ultimate outcome: money made. Wonderly is an AI-native OS with a self-improving revenue engine for local services SMBs; we get paid when that engine generates incremental revenue for our customers. We're creating a new category called Growth Backing. Starting with local services SMB, our AI agents run the entire customer journey — from outreach and sales through fulfillment and revenue collected — doing work that used to require a best-in-class GTM team, sales team, finance team, and operations team. Most Main Street businesses could never find or afford that caliber of talent. Our AI agents deliver it, never sleep, and get better with every customer we win. Software sold seats. Agencies sold hours. Wonderly gets paid for revenue. We own the ultimate outcome - the only way small businesses can actually benefit from AI. We're hiring people who want to build the company that backs outcomes, not tools, and help mainstream businesses actually benefit from AI. → https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/wonderly

Job description

About Wonderly

Wonderly is a closed-loop, end-to-end system that self-improves on our customers’ revenue. We serve the home service industry ($1.3T), and can consistently double a new customer’s revenue within 90 days. We make all of our AI and software completely free - and only get paid when our customers make real money. We’re here helping real small businesses make a life, pay for their children’s college tuition, and live the American dream.

Pre-AI SaaS sold tools. AI companies claim they sell outcomes - task done, call answered, lead booked, ticket resolved - but calls or leads aren’t the outcomes that ultimately matter. Revenue is what ultimately matters, and today, none of the AI companies actually promise revenue. Wonderly changes that.

Our 70-person team (mostly in PDE) spent over a year building in stealth; our thesis is that - if you actually want to control the end result (revenue) of a business and deploy AI fast/cheaply, you can’t just build the sexy part (agents), you must also build the unsexy parts and own everything end to end: the system of record layer and the application layer. We built from scratch every software a home service business needs - replacing ServiceTitan, Squarespace, Ringcentral, Jobber, Square, Hubspot, and a dozen others applications. And we built every agent necessary - AI marketing, AI receptionist, AI voice, AI sales outreach, AI sales coaching, AI follow-ups, AI 3D design, AI finance, AI quoting, AI collections, and more - all embedded inside our own system with native data access. As a result, we can deploy dozens of production-ready Agents to our customers in under 24 hours with no FDEs, no integrations, and no data cleaning work.

We are the most outcome driven business model in the business because we’ve proven our system and AI Agents actually work in driving the end result - revenue. We are not trying to sell our customers a dream - each of our 10+ core AI Agents help improve our customers’ revenue by 5-20%.

Wonderly already has PMF and has gone from 0 → 1 (we are happy to share more over a call), with very clear moat and deep industry knowledge that took a team of 70 hardcore A-players 18 months to build (we are at least 2 years ahead of anyone else in the space). We believe Wonderly has the potential to be a $100B - $1T outcome. The market is massive: home service businesses across North America (a $1.3T market). We’ve raised over $50M from top-tier investors, have $20M a year in free cashflow from another product line (Motion), and all that money gets pumped into Wonderly.

About the Hiring Manager

Hey, I’m Victoria. I lead Sales Operations here at Wonderly.

I’ve built phone teams at four different companies now, and the thing I’ve learned is that the resume tells you almost nothing. What actually predicts it: if you’re quick, if you take feedback without getting weird about it, and if you care whether the lead actually gets handled right.

I’m hiring people who already know home services and are hungry to get on the phone and win. People I can put in front of a lead and trust to qualify them, book the meeting, and never let one slip through the cracks.

The Role

We’re looking for experienced home improvement callers. You call homeowner leads, qualify them, book in-home appointments, and work the ones that didn’t sell, every day.

We generate leads for home services contractors and only make money when those leads turn into closed jobs. Our calling team is the step in between: we call the lead, qualify it, and book the onsite so the contractor just has to show up and close.

Day to day:

  • Calling new leads fast and qualifying them

  • Booking in-home appointments on our contractors’ calendars

  • Working unsold and cancelled appointments to get them back on the calendar

  • Logging every call and outcome so nothing slips

What Makes This Role Different

At most companies, you book appointments for one sales team, and the playbook is set.

Here, you’d book for hundreds of contractors, and if you see a better way to call, qualify, or follow up, you say it Monday and we’re testing it Wednesday. You’d be one of the first experienced callers on a team that’s still being built, and the people who prove it first are the ones who lead it as it grows.

Backgrounds That Tend to Work

People from these backgrounds tend to thrive:

  • Inside sales reps and appointment setters in remodeling or home services

  • Customer service reps or schedulers at HVAC, plumbing, or roofing companies who book jobs over the phone

  • Lead coordinators or intake specialists who qualify and route incoming homeowner leads

Backgrounds we care less about:

  • Call center agents with no home services experience

  • B2B or SaaS SDRs who have never talked to homeowners

  • Callers at lead-gen agencies who passed leads along but never booked the appointment

What matters more than the resume:

  • You know remodeling and home services well enough to talk to homeowners about their project

  • You’ve booked homeowner appointments at real volume

  • You can get a homeowner from “just looking” to a booked appointment without being pushy

  • You follow up until it’s a yes or a clear no

  • You keep clean notes so the next person knows exactly where the lead stands

  • You care whether your appointments actually show up and close, not just how many you book

  • You treat every lead like it’s yours. If one slips, you own it.

  • You move fast, because you know a lead goes cold in minutes

  • A bad call doesn’t throw off the next one

  • You’re comfortable with ambiguity and fast changes

Expectations

  • 60–70 hour weeks

  • Coverage that matches when leads come in, including some weekends

  • Real ownership of your calls and bookings within your first 2 weeks

  • The process changes fast. What we tell you Monday might be rewritten by Thursday because the numbers told us to.

Compensation

$70,000–$120,000 (base + on-target earnings)
