Job description

BETER is a leading provider of fast-betting content, data, and technology solutions for the sports and esports industries.

We deliver high-quality live streams, real-time data, and betting solutions to operators worldwide, helping them enhance their offerings and create engaging experiences for their customers.

Our international team brings together professionals from technology, sports, esports, trading, and analytics, working together to develop innovative products for the global betting industry.

About the role:

We are looking for a Quantitative Product Analyst to join our Esports Product team at BETER.

In this role, you will transform complex betting, product, and operational data into actionable insights that drive product performance and business growth. You will analyse key metrics, identify trends and opportunities, evaluate new initiatives, and help teams make data-driven decisions.

You will report to the Head of Esports Product, eLeagues, and work closely with Product, Trading, Quantitative Analytics, Operations, BI, and Commercial teams.

What you'll do:

  • Analyse product performance: Monitor and evaluate key metrics, including turnover, GGR, margins, betting activity, and customer behaviour across products, clients, markets, and regions.
  • Identify opportunities: Detect trends, anomalies, performance gaps, and areas for product optimisation.
  • Apply statistical analysis: Test hypotheses, validate findings, and distinguish meaningful trends from normal fluctuations.
  • Investigate performance challenges: Analyse client underperformance and unusual betting patterns to identify root causes and recommend improvements.
  • Build forecasts and models: Develop scenarios, forecasts, and commercial impact assessments to support business decisions.
  • Evaluate new initiatives: Support business cases for new products, markets, and esports formats, define success metrics, and assess pilot results.
  • Analyse market trends: Use competitor and market intelligence to identify potential risks, opportunities, and competitive advantages.
  • Drive data-informed decisions: Present complex findings in a clear, practical way and provide actionable recommendations to Product, Trading, and Commercial stakeholders.

What we're looking for:

  • Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of statistical methods and data analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and BI tools (such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker).
  • Ability to interpret complex datasets, identify patterns, and translate findings into business recommendations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, commercial awareness, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Python or R for statistical analysis and data modelling.
  • Previous experience in sports betting, esports, iGaming, or a related industry.
  • Understanding of betting metrics, product performance, and commercial analytics.

What we offer:

  • 20 paid vacation days per year to rest and recharge.
  • 10 paid sick days annually, with simplified sick leave arrangements.
  • Paid public holidays according to your country of employment.
  • Flexible working arrangements, including remote or hybrid options depending on the role and location.
  • Flexible working hours, with core collaboration hours from 11:00 to 17:00 (UTC+3).
  • A supportive international team and opportunities to collaborate with experienced professionals across different markets.
  • Professional growth opportunities in a dynamic and fast-growing esports and sports betting industry.
  • The benefits package may vary depending on the country of employment and type of contract.

Why join us?

This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of data, esports, and product strategy, contributing directly to product development and commercial performance.

Your insights will help shape product decisions, identify growth opportunities, and support the evolution of BETER's esports products.
