Job description

About Us

Concord isn't your typical consulting firm; we're an execution company. We help organizations move technology and AI initiatives from concept to measurable capability, working alongside our clients from the initial definition of success through full implementation and adoption.

Our team brings expertise across artificial intelligence and data, digital experience, and platform engineering, enabling the organizations we serve to build lasting internal capability. We operate as a global team, with a presence across the United States, Latin America, Europe, and India, giving our clients access to specialized talent and continuous coverage across time zones.

About The Role
We are seeking a Data Scientist for our growing Analytics practice. In this role, you will be working closely with clients' delivery teams from Marketing and Analytics, as well as the Concord delivery team of project leads, analysts, engineers, and data scientists. This is a client-facing consultant role with room to grow your career along one of the following tracks: technical data & analytics, account leadership, and/or management.

The ideal candidate combines deep analytical expertise, business acumen, and a passion for storytelling with data. You will support clients through descriptive, prescriptive, and predictive stages. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys being at the intersection of analytics, communication, and strategy. You’ll be expected not only to design and implement technical solutions but also to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, mentor junior team members, and manage projects with competing priorities.

The ideal candidate brings deep analytical expertise, strong marketing context, and the ability to translate data into compelling stories. Knowledge of digital measurement, digital marketing, personalization, CDPs, user experience, analytics, and a strong focus on project management is needed to be successful. A broad understanding of SQL or Python will be required for the role.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures.
  • Partner with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to define use cases and translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Optimize workflows for data ingestion, transformation, and feature engineering.
  • Collaborate with cloud architects to design cost-effective, high-performance data solutions.
  • Understanding of marketing analytics — preferably CRM or channel analytics

What We Are Looking For

  • 4+ years in the Data & Analytics space, preferably in sales analytics and/or consulting. Experience with project management is a strong plus.
  • Proven experience designing KPIs and measurement frameworks for business performance, such as productivity, efficiency, or growth metrics.
  • Track record of presenting results and recommendations to executive-level audiences and influencing business decisions.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking. You can take ambiguous business questions, translate them into structured, addressable ones, and produce insightful, actionable analyses.
  • Ability to simplify complex data into insights the business can act on.
  • Self-starter who owns projects end-to-end with minimal direction and anticipates stakeholder needs.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and integrity across data, reporting, and deliverables.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing responsibilities under tight deadlines while delivering quality outcomes.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across sales, operations, and data.

Technical Knowledge & Skills
  • Advanced SQL and Python are must-haves, including experience working with Big Data (Databricks, AWS, Snowflake).
  • Experience developing visualization solutions in BI tools. Tableau, Plotly or QlikSense preferred.
  • Experience with KPI design, measurement planning, performance attribution, segmentation and standard experimentation methods.
  • Experience using AI-enabled analytics and reporting tools such as Claude or Cursor, and scaling AI-enabled solutions.
  • Strong understanding of statistics.
