  • Review agreements, policies, member-facing materials, business associate agreements, and other documents for compliance implications.
  • Coordinate and support enterprise compliance activities, including risk assessments, work plans, compliance testing, and program reporting.
  • Analyze findings, identify trends and root causes, develop recommendations, and communicate risk-related insights to stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain compliance dashboards, reporting tools, and status updates.
  • Support the ongoing administration and continuous improvement of the Compliance and Privacy Program.
  • Coordinate compliance training initiatives and annual compliance education efforts.
  • Support quarterly Compliance Committee activities and Board-level reporting.
  • Promote and support a strong culture of compliance throughout the organization.
  • Perform additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Privacy-Focused Responsibilities

  • Support the administration and oversight of Liberty's HIPAA Privacy Program.
  • Investigate and manage privacy incidents involving Protected Health Information (PHI).
  • Conduct privacy impact assessments and evaluate new vendors, systems, technologies, and business processes for privacy-related risks.
  • Identify potential compliance and privacy risks and recommend appropriate safeguards and mitigation strategies.
  • Review vendor agreements, business associate agreements, and contractual language for privacy and compliance considerations.
  • Partner with business leaders to implement privacy controls and maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Support member rights processes and privacy-related process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with incident response, risk mitigation efforts, and privacy program enhancements designed to protect member information and organizational assets.
