Job description

ECM Specialist

VersaFile Inc. is a Vancouver-based technology services and software company providing intelligent content and process automation solutions. This includes managed services, strategic consulting, implementations, and commercial software. Our purpose is to generate outcomes that make a difference by making our solutions easy, highly functional, and quick to value.

As we expand our support for client engagements across the UK and Europe, we’re growing our network of experienced technical contractors specializing in Enterprise Content Management (ECM), solution architecture, and platform migrations.

We’re looking to connect with skilled professionals who can support a range of project needs, from technical presales and solution design to hands-on technical implementation and migration delivery. Whether you bring deep expertise in a specific platform or broader experience across ECM technologies, we’d welcome the opportunity to connect.

Areas of Expertise

1. FileNet Solution Architect

  • Lead solution architecture and technical design for IBM FileNet solutions.
  • Support technical presales, client discovery, requirements analysis, and solution recommendations.
  • Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.

2. FileNet Technical Specialist

  • Provide hands-on FileNet configuration, development, troubleshooting, and technical support.
  • Support implementations, enhancements, and platform migrations.

3. ECM Migration Specialists

We’re interested in professionals with experience in one or more of the following platforms:

  • IBM FileNet
  • IBM Content Manager 8 (CM8)
  • IBM Content Manager OnDemand (CMOD)

Experience with content migrations, platform transitions, migration planning, execution, and validation is an asset. Platform specialists without direct migration experience are also encouraged to connect.

4. Helix Specialists

  • Experience with Helix-related platforms, tools, or technologies that may support upcoming client engagements.

Who We’re Looking For

We value contractors with strong technical expertise, experience in enterprise environments, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with client and project teams.

Location:  Our head office is in Vancouver, but this is a remote work from home role, with the ability to work anywhere in Canada or Europe. Preference will be given to those who can work in European timezones.
