Job description

We're Sharp Performance

Sharp Performance exists so that everyone who answers the call has someone in their corner who has walked in their shoes.

We help first responders and their spouses thrive through confidential coaching from people with similar lived experience. Our coaches have carried the badge, worn the gear, or stood beside someone who did. Through our mobile platform, we connect law enforcement, firefighters, and other frontline professionals with coaches who understand the job because they have lived it.

We're early-stage and backed by amazing investors. The team is small enough that your work shows up in the rollout, the product, and the customer's experience within weeks. If building something that matters alongside people who hold a high standard sounds better than a safe seat somewhere else, come build it with us.

The Opportunity

We're hiring a full-time Field Implementation Specialist to put Sharp on the ground inside the departments we serve.

This is the role that determines what a Sharp rollout actually feels like. You are the person walking into a briefing room and earning trust in the first ten minutes. You will execute our rollout system with discipline, represent Sharp Performance with excellence, and leave every department better prepared to engage with the platform than they were when you arrived.

This role is built for the road. Expect approximately three weeks per month traveling to customer departments: fly in, execute the rollout, fly out, do it again. You will operate independently, make decisions without waiting for perfect clarity, and own the experience the department has with Sharp.

What You'll Own

  • Rollout Execution: Deliver Sharp's rollout system onsite with precision. Lead sessions, manage setup and breakdown, and engage department leadership and staff with confidence.
  • First Impression of Sharp: You are the face of Sharp Performance in the room. How you carry yourself, how you communicate, and how you handle pressure shapes how a department feels about the platform from day one.
  • Trust on the Ground: Earn credibility quickly with command staff and frontline personnel. Speak clearly to leadership. Speak honestly. Read the room and adjust without losing the standard.
  • Post-Rollout Documentation: Complete all required post-rollout documentation and handoffs to the Customer Success Manager who owns the account. Capture what happened, what worked, and what needs follow-up.
  • Field Feedback Loop: Bring real-world observations back to product, coaching, and leadership. The closer Sharp builds to what departments actually need, the more lives this work touches.

Cadence

The deployment framework below exists to protect long-term performance:

  • Approximately 3 rollout weeks per month.
  • No more than 16 consecutive days of travel before a mandatory home week.
  • A maximum of 11 travel weeks per quarter.
  • Non-deployment blocks longer than five business days need 30 days' notice so rollouts can be scheduled around them.

Who Thrives Here

This role is not for everyone. You will thrive if you:

  • Stay composed when expectations are high and variables are shifting.
  • Communicate with clarity and conviction, whether speaking to leadership or frontline personnel.
  • Treat the road as part of the job, not an inconvenience.
  • Prefer ownership over supervision.
  • Care deeply about serving those who serve others.
  • Are comfortable speaking to a room that does not engage with you.

Why you'll love working here

Sharp is a small, fast-growing team, and our success starts with the people doing the work. The package is built to support your health, your finances, and your growth:

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance for you and your family.
  • Flexible PTO to recharge and perform at your best.
  • Competitive salary and meaningful equity that reflect the seniority of the role.
  • 401(k) with company match.
  • Unlimited access to the Sharp Performance platform and our coaches.

Total compensation: $120,000 base salary, plus equity.
