The Product Team

Led by our Chief Product Officer,Zeeshan Qamruddin,  the Product team drives our company’s product strategy and brings together all business functions around it. This includes Technology, Growth/Marketing, Design, User Experience, Operations & Customer Support, and Cloud.

About The Challenge

As we enter an ambitious new stage of growth, we’re sharpening our product positioning, simplifying customer journeys, and expanding into adjacent opportunities globally. To help lead this next chapter, we’re looking for a VP of Web Presence, reporting directly to the CPO.

In a nutshell, you’ll shape and execute the long-term strategy for our hosting and site creation portfolio, leading multiple product leaders to drive its growth and success. You will bring Shared Hosting, VPS, and Website Builder together into a cohesive, AI-forward and increasingly agentic portfolio, where each product has a distinct role, a clear audience, and a natural path to the next, so customers can start, grow, and scale their web presence with us at every stage.

What You’ll Lead and Accelerate

Portfolio Strategy & Positioning

• Define and execute the long-term strategy and roadmap across Shared Hosting, VPS, and Website Builder.

• Position each offering with a clear, complementary role and seamless upgrade paths, and simplify packaging and pricing across tiers. 

• Define clear target segments and use cases for each product, from first-time creators to developers and growing businesses.

• Shape build vs. partner vs. acquire decisions that strengthen and extend the portfolio.

• Balance growth with infrastructure economics, ensuring pricing, product, and platform investment decisions support sustainable margins.

• Set portfolio-level KPIs and use them to guide investment, prioritization, and trade-offs across products.

 AI-Forward Product Direction

• Shape and expand an AI-forward web presence product set, with Alf Website Builder and agentic capabilities at the core of how customers build and manage their sites.

• Explore and scale agentic experiences where agents help customers create, launch, and maintain their sites, from first idea to ongoing optimization.

• Embed AI and automation across the portfolio to make site creation, management, and performance simpler for customers.

• Identify expansion opportunities across agentic solutions, automation, and performance-led hosting.

Leadership

• Align Product, Engineering, Marketing, CX, and Finance around clear priorities and measurable outcomes.

• Lead the product teams across the portfolio through their respective leaders.

• Standardize and simplify processes to improve execution speed and cross-team alignment.

 Market & Competitive Intelligence

• Monitor competitive landscape and emerging technology trends.

• Translate market insights into actionable portfolio decisions.

• Position the portfolio to strengthen long-term differentiation and defensibility.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven senior leadership experience in the web presence industry (hosting, managed WordPress, website builders, or adjacent infrastructure platforms), including building and scaling a product portfolio.

• Technical fluency in hosting infrastructure, able to engage credibly with engineering on architecture and innovation.

• A track record of bringing AI-powered products or features to market and scaling their adoption, with hands-on exposure to agentic experiences. 

• Strong commercial and portfolio strategy capability, including pricing, lifecycle optimization, and product differentiation.

• Deep understanding of infrastructure economics and platform dynamics.

• Experience leading senior product leaders and aligning cross-functional organizations at scale.

• Structured, data-driven operator with a track record of driving growth and margin expansion.
