We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for our Cloud Sync platform. In this role, you will partner closely with Product Management, Engineering Leadership, and fellow technical leaders to design scalable solutions, establish engineering standards, and drive strategic initiatives across a critical product ecosystem. You'll serve as a trusted technical advisor, helping teams navigate complex architectural decisions while ensuring quality, performance, scalability, and long-term maintainability.

As a key technical leader, you will help modernize legacy synchronization services, improve platform reliability and performance, and advance our cloud-first architecture. You'll influence technical strategy, mentor engineers, lead architectural discussions, and serve as a go-to resource for solving complex distributed systems challenges while driving continuous improvement across the engineering organization.

  • Expertise in software architecture, distributed systems, client-server architecture, object-oriented design, and engineering best practices
  • Proven ability to create technical designs, architectural documentation, and scalable solutions while influencing technical decisions across teams
  • Problem-solving skills and experience diagnosing and resolving complex production issues
  • Demonstrated technical leadership through mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, driving software quality, and elevating team capabilities
  • A natural collaborator with excellent communication skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, challenge assumptions, and build alignment without direct authority
  • A hands-on technical leader who combines strategic thinking, ownership, accountability, and continuous learning to deliver meaningful business outcomes

What Will Set You Apart
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with cloud-based applications and service-oriented architectures
