We’re an award-winning business that’s changed how customers experience insurance. By challenging traditional thinking and raising the bar on service, we’ve built a reputation for doing things differently.

Our people are at the heart of that success. We invest in talent, back bold ideas and create space for innovation to flourish because growth happens when great people are empowered to do their best work.

With a global ambition to innovate, dominate and disrupt niche insurance markets, we’re looking for forward-thinkers who thrive on change and want to shape the future of the industry.

🌟 The Role

We're looking for an experienced Insurer Relationship Manager to help manage and develop our relationships with our travel insurance partners.

You'll play an important role in making sure our insurer partnerships are working effectively, from managing day-to-day relationships and monitoring performance to supporting contract negotiations, product development and regulatory requirements.

Working closely with our insurers and internal teams, you'll help identify opportunities to improve our products, strengthen partnerships and ultimately deliver better outcomes for our customers.

🌟 What you'll be doing

  • Managing insurer relationships: Act as the main point of contact for your allocated insurance partners, building strong relationships and ensuring regular communication and collaboration.

  • Overseeing partner performance: Lead regular governance and performance review meetings, monitoring service levels, objectives and contractual commitments to identify areas for improvement.

  • Supporting contract negotiations: Assist with negotiating and managing insurer agreements, ensuring both parties are meeting their obligations.

  • Monitoring and reporting: Track insurer performance against agreed OKRs and SLAs, providing meaningful insights and updates to senior stakeholders.

  • Supporting product development: Work alongside our Insurance Product Team and insurer partners to develop new travel insurance products and improve existing propositions.

  • Ensuring regulatory compliance: Work with our Legal and Compliance teams to ensure partnerships meet regulatory requirements, including Fair Value Assessments and relevant industry standards.

  • Collaborating across the business: Partner with teams including Pricing, Claims, Sales, Marketing and Customer Service to ensure our insurer relationships support wider business objectives.

  • Driving continuous improvement: Use performance data, customer feedback and internal insights to identify opportunities to improve service delivery, products and partner relationships.

🌟 What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who enjoys building strong working relationships and can confidently manage conversations with both external partners and internal stakeholders.

Ideally, you'll bring:

  • Experience managing insurer or strategic partner relationships, ideally within travel, pet or general insurance.

  • Experience working in financial services.

  • A good understanding of insurance products, underwriting principles and claims processes.

  • Experience working with insurer agreements, service levels and performance measures.

  • Strong communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.

  • Confidence working with data, identifying trends and turning insights into practical improvements.

  • An understanding of insurance regulations, governance and compliance requirements.

  • The ability to manage multiple stakeholders, balance priorities and work collaboratively across different teams.

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and identifying opportunities for improvement.

🌟 It would be great if you also have

  • Experience working within an insurer, broker or insurance distribution business.

  • Knowledge of digital insurance distribution models or insurtech partnerships.

  • Experience working with multiple insurance providers or managing complex insurer relationships.

We’re assembling a diverse team, where skills, not checkboxes, reign supreme, regardless of race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or disability.

Staysure Group welcomes all new starters with open arms, providing training, development opportunities, and great benefits.
