Job description

Ready for a challenge?

Then Just Eat Takeaway.com might be the place for you. We’re a leading global online food delivery platform, and our vision is to empower everyday convenience.

Whether it’s a Friday-night feast, a post-gym poke bowl, or grabbing some groceries, our tech platform connects tens of millions of customers with hundreds of thousands of restaurant, grocery and convenience partners across the globe.

About this role

As a Product Manager in our Fintech pillar, you will take ownership of key features that power our financial services experience. You’ll turn business strategy into high-impact products, working autonomously with engineering and analytics to build scalable, high-quality solutions. You won't just execute a roadmap—you will help shape it, measure its success, and continuously advocate for our users.

Location: Alberta ( Remote)

Reporting to: Head of Product, Finance

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

  • Roadmap Execution & Backlog Ownership: Partner with Product Leads and stakeholders to translate business goals into a clear, prioritized product backlog. Own end-to-end feature delivery, making firm decisions on what makes it into the scope—and what doesn't.
  • Cross-Functional Delivery: Lead squad execution alongside Engineering. Drive Agile ceremonies, define clear user stories and acceptance criteria, and remove operational blockers to deliver features at a steady, high-quality pace.
  • Data & Impact Focus: Define key performance metrics (KPIs) for your product area. Leverage quantitative data and qualitative insights to validate hypotheses, track feature success, and drive continuous product enhancements.
  • Stakeholder Management: Proactively manage relationships across Engineering, Operations, Compliance, and Support teams. Maintain transparent, clear communication to keep stakeholders aligned, manage risks, and navigate dependencies.

What will you bring to the table?

  • Proven PM Experience: 2–4 years of hands-on experience as a Product Manager, preferably within Fintech, or high-scale digital products.
  • Data-Informed Decision Making: Demonstrated ability to establish success metrics, interpret analytics, and combine data with user feedback to make smart product trade-offs.
  • Technical & Agile Acumen: Strong fluency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and comfortable working closely with engineers to discuss technical trade-offs, scope, and system constraints.
  • Autonomous Problem Solving: A proactive, self-starter mindset. You take full accountability for your features, navigate ambiguity with structured thinking, and adapt quickly when plans change.
  • Strong Communication & Influence: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate feature vision clearly to both technical teams and non-technical business partners.

Core Expectations & Skills

  • Product Craft: Owns the lifecycle of a product feature from concept, through release documentation and operational launch, to post-launch optimization.
  • Strategic Alignment: Connects daily feature work directly to overarching domain strategy, company OKRs, and courier satisfaction metrics.
  • Problem Solving: Tackles complex, ambiguous problems independently, bringing well-researched options and recommendations to leadership when guidance is needed.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Confidently challenges stakeholder assumptions when necessary to protect team focus and maintain strategic alignment.
  • Research & Discovery: Conducts user research in partnership with specialists, mapping out existing business processes to identify efficiency gains and user friction points.
