Position: Sonic Audit Specialist - Italian
Type: Contract
Compensation: $40/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI training data in Italian to ensure transcription accuracy and alignment.
• Review multilingual transcription audits by listening to recordings and verifying transcription accuracy.
• Conduct forced alignment audits by checking and correcting word-level timestamps and transcriptions.
• Apply error codes and provide clear rationales for audit decisions.
• Work independently and with flexible hours to complete tasks with precision.
• Ensure high-quality AI model outputs through careful and consistent judgment.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Native or near-native Italian command as spoken in Italy.
• Strong English reading and writing skills.
• Disciplined rubric application for consistent judgment.
• Careful listening skills to distinguish sounds and identify errors.

Preferred

• Experience in AI data annotation, model evaluation, or audio editing.
• Background in phonetics or linguistics.
