Director of Field Sales (THREE)

THREE is changing the way businesses think about commercial insurance. We're looking for a highly driven Director of Field Sales to build THREE's presence within assigned territories. This is a leadership role with ability to attract, develop, and retain Field Sales Reps with clear production accountability.

The Role

You will build THREE's field sales force from scratch - from identifying, hiring, and developing high potential talent. We want someone who is technically curious, understands the fundamentals of commercial P&C, and can learn THREE's product deeply enough to make its value simple and compelling – through building and leading a team new to THREE.

This role is remote, but preference will be given to Central and Eastern located candidates, with easy access to travel countrywide.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Field Sales Reps in key states.
• Set field sales goals, and hold reps accountable for achieving goals to meet overall company production objectives.
• Build new agency relationships from scratch, and assist field reps in continuing to strengthen those relationships over time.
• Partner with Product, Underwriting, Service, and Marketing to develop and execute strategies that support profitable growth and deepen agency engagement. 
• Identify market opportunities, emerging trends, and distribution challenges, providing recommendations that support long-term growth and competitive positioning. 
• Work closely with senior leadership to ensure distribution strategies align with broader company objectives and business priorities. 

Qualifications 

• 10+ years of progressive experience within distribution based roles, with a demonstrated track record of building, managing, and scaling books of business.
• Deep knowledge of the commercial insurance marketplace, including agency distribution models, carrier relationships, and market dynamics. 
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with agency principals, producers, and key distribution partners at the local level. 
• Strong leadership and talent development skills. 
• Strong analytical skills and comfort using CRM platforms, and funnel, conversion, and production data to drive team success.
• High personal accountability, strong bias toward action, and the ability to solve problems without waiting for a playbook.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the United States.

In accordance with pay transparency laws and regulations, the following good faith compensation range estimate is being provided. The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $175,000 per year plus quarterly bonus. Final compensation will be based on candidate qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations permitted by law.
