Job Description:

Baker Tilly is seeking a dynamic Field Enablement Manager to accelerate growth by coaching client-facing professionals to build stronger pipelines, advance opportunities, expand client relationships, and consistently apply the Baker Tilly Way of Selling.

As the primary sales enablement and coaching resource for an assigned region, you will work directly with principals and other client-facing professionals on live opportunities, strategic pursuits, and business development priorities. You will also partner with regional and firm leaders to translate growth strategies into effective field execution.

Success in this role is measured by seller behavior change, pipeline growth, opportunity progression, technology adoption, and measurable sales outcomes.

Responsibilities

Drive Growth Through Sales Coaching – 70%

  • Provide targeted 1:1 and small-group coaching to principals and client-facing professionals, with an emphasis on live opportunities and measurable business outcomes.
  • Coach sellers across Baker Tilly's key growth motions: new client acquisition, client expansion, and referrals.
  • Help sellers build healthy pipelines, strengthen pursuit strategies, and accelerate opportunities from qualification through close.
  • Coach pursuit teams to identify client needs, differentiate Baker Tilly, navigate buying dynamics, and prepare for client meetings, presentations, and proposals.
  • Reinforce the Baker Tilly Way of Selling and sales methodologies, including Challenger Sale, SPIN, and BANT, through practical application to active opportunities.
  • Facilitate role plays, deal strategy sessions, and other practice-based coaching, providing actionable feedback that drives sustained behavior change.
  • Use Salesforce, pipeline data, win rates, and other performance indicators to identify coaching opportunities and measure impact.
  • Reinforce adoption of Salesforce, Highspot, and other sales tools by embedding them into day-to-day selling and coaching activities.

Regional Growth & Firm Initiative Execution – 25%

  • Serve as a strategic enablement partner to Regional Managing Principals, Geography Managing Principals, and other growth leaders.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to assess pipeline health, seller engagement, growth priorities, and opportunities for enablement support.
  • Partner with regional leadership to identify priority growth opportunities and develop targeted coaching and activation plans.
  • Support execution and adoption of firmwide growth initiatives, including client expansion/cross-sell, Strategic Account Teams, Salesforce adoption, and other priority programs.
  • Participate in selected Strategic Account Team and regional growth meetings, bringing sales coaching, methodology, and opportunity insights to the discussion.
  • Collaborate across Sales Enablement, Sales Operations, Sales Technology, Marketing, Industry, Service, and Geography teams to coordinate growth priorities.
  • Use adoption, pipeline, and sales performance indicators to identify trends and recommend targeted interventions.

Sales Process & Methodology – 5%

  • Educate and reinforce the Baker Tilly Way of Selling, helping sellers apply the firm's sales process and methodology to their business development activities.
  • Facilitate and support Sales Boot Camps and other sales activation experiences.
  • Serve as a subject matter resource for sales methodology, opportunity strategy, coaching, and business development best practices.
  • Translate sales concepts into practical behaviors client-facing professionals can apply immediately.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in sales enablement, sales coaching, business development, sales leadership, or a related discipline; professional services experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach experienced sellers and senior professionals on live sales opportunities and influence behavior without direct authority.
  • Strong knowledge of sales processes, opportunity management, pipeline development, account growth, and sales methodologies such as Challenger, JOLT, SPIN, or similar.
  • Strong business and commercial acumen with the ability to connect coaching to pipeline growth, opportunity progression, win rates, and revenue outcomes.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders and serve as a credible thought partner on growth opportunities.
  • Strong coaching and facilitation skills, including diagnosing performance gaps, asking effective questions, delivering actionable feedback, and driving sustained behavior change.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, executive presence, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience using CRM and sales enablement technology to support selling behaviors and measure performance; proficiency with Salesforce, Highspot, and Power BI preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret pipeline, opportunity, adoption, and sales performance data.
  • Effective cross-functional collaborator who can navigate a complex, matrixed organization and balance firmwide priorities with regional growth needs.
