Description

Spatial Front, Inc. (SFI) is seeking a Sr Full Stack Engineer to support our growing modernization team. SFI was recently awarded the 2025 USA Today National Top Places to Work award and the 2025 Washington Post Top Workplaces.

Support the customer’s missions including application development, rapid prototyping, standards development, and research and development of new technologies. Consolidate different components of Education Finance survey data collection, processing, and dissemination into a new system/survey. Work with web services and Oracle migration to PostgreSQL, as well as Cloud migration.

Summary of Job Functions

  • Design and develop new software projects 
  • Enhance and maintain existing software applications
  • Work in team environment using GITHUB
  • Use agile methodologies to develop software projects
  • Use AWS cloud and containerization to enable cloud migrations
  • Coordinate with Product owners to understand requirements
  • Participate in peer testing and demonstrate the development

Requirements
  • US Citizenship with an ability to obtain a Public Trust
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required

Contractual Requirements

  • Python (3+yrs)
  • Angular (3+yrs)
  • FastAPI (3+yrs)
  • Oracle (3+yrs)
  • PostgreSQL (3+yrs)
  • Java Web Services (3+yrs)

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • C# / WPF (helpful not mandatory) (3+yrs)
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to mentor junior developers, if needed
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification or above is desired

Additional Information:

  • In order to meet the clearance requirements for this opportunity, candidates must be US Citizen.
  • All candidates will be subject to a complete background check to include, but not limited to Criminal History, Education Verification, Professional Certification Verification, Verification of Previous Employment and Credit History.
  • Public Trust background investigations can take approximately four to eight weeks and requires fingerprinting.

  • The salary for this position is $140,000 - $170,000 annually
