Job description

Why work at Higgsfield AI?

Higgsfield AI is the fastest-scaling generative AI company in history, hitting $1B in annual revenue run rate, 30M+ users worldwide, 6M+ generations per day, and powering 390 of Fortune 500 brands.

We're building at the absolute frontier of AI-powered video creation and next-generation creative tools. Joining Higgsfield means becoming part of a high-impact team shaping the future of AI-native experiences, at a company that isn't just moving fast, but rewriting what fast looks like.

About the role:

Higgsfield AI is seeking a Legal Systems Engineer to build, customize, and connect the systems behind our contracting, procurement, and revenue operations.

This role will sit within the Legal team while supporting systems and workflows that span the broader organization. You will work across Ironclad, Ramp, HubSpot, and other business-critical tools, partnering closely with Legal, Finance, RevOps, Sales, and other cross-functional teams.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role for someone who can combine strong technical systems expertise with sound operational judgment. You will own integrations, workflows, automation, reporting, release processes, and secure AI connections across the business systems that support how Higgsfield operates.

What you'll do:

  • Own the design, build, and ongoing improvement of Ironclad intake forms, workflows, approvals, templates, clause libraries, and data across every agreement type Higgsfield signs.

  • Manage Ironclad users, permissions, and SSO to ensure confidential and privileged information remains appropriately restricted.

  • Maintain system documentation and establish scalable processes for ongoing administration and support.

  • Troubleshoot system issues, manage vendor escalations, and train users across teams.

Build Integrations and Automation

  • Build and maintain integrations between Ironclad and HubSpot, Ramp, Hex and other business systems.

  • Use the Ironclad API and other integration tools when native connectors do not meet business requirements.

  • Build reliable integrations with appropriate monitoring, error handling, retries, and operational visibility.

  • Identify opportunities to automate manual workflows across Legal and other business functions.

Build Reporting and Operational Visibility

  • Develop contract and SLA dashboards covering turnaround times, backlog, contract value, renewals, and expirations.

  • Improve data quality and consistency across connected business systems.

  • Build reporting that gives Legal and business teams clear visibility into workflow performance and operational priorities.

  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure systems data can support day-to-day decision-making.

Own Release and Change Management

  • Run a disciplined release process across business systems, including testing, owner sign-off, scheduled releases, and release notes.

  • Coordinate system changes across stakeholders to minimize disruption and maintain reliability.

  • Establish repeatable standards for testing, deployment, and documentation as systems become more complex.

Build Secure AI Connections

  • Build secure AI connections to Ironclad and other business systems.

  • Partner with Legal and technical stakeholders to identify practical ways to use AI and automation across business workflows.

  • Ensure AI-enabled integrations appropriately account for access controls, confidentiality, and system permissions.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Legal Systems or a similar technical operations role.

  • 5+ years of experience building in Ironclad

  • Proficiency with Python or JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, REST APIs, webhooks, and OAuth.

  • Demonstrated experience building reliable integrations with monitoring, error handling, and retry logic.

  • Familiarity with contracts and sound judgment when handling confidential and sensitive information.

  • Strong ownership and the ability to work independently in a fast-moving startup environment.

  • Strong cross-functional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with Legal, Finance, Sales, and technical teams.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • We offer a competitive and thoughtfully structured compensation package designed to align with impact, experience, and long-term growth.

  • Equity: In addition to cash compensation, employees are eligible to participate in the company’s stock option program and share in Higgsfield AI’s long-term growth.

  • Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees professionally and personally, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a competitive 401(k) retirement plan with company matching, and additional benefits and perks.

  • The opportunity to work on ambitious AI products alongside a highly experienced, fast-moving, and international team.

  • Significant ownership, direct impact, and opportunities for professional growth as the company scales.

This is a fully remote role based in the United States, with occasional business travel to our San Francisco office required for team meetings, planning sessions, company events, and other in-person collaboration. Team members are expected to be available during agreed working hours and maintain sufficient overlap with the relevant team’s time zone. While we work remotely, we value active communication, responsiveness, and close collaboration across teams.

Higgsfield AI is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic.
