Job description

Do you thrive on leading complex projects, building strong partnerships, and creating alignment across customers and cross-functional teams? In this role, you will drive strategic customer deliveries and Transfer of Technology initiatives while helping develop solutions that contribute to safety and security worldwide. Come and join us!

We are facing an exciting future with considerable growth and demanding changes. We continue to evolve our advanced technologies and mission critical solutions for the defense and aerospace industry to deliver real-world solutions that matter to the security of people on land, at sea and in the air. Therefore, we are looking for a Project Manager to become part of this journey and contribute to our overall purpose – securing people through advanced technology.

Your role as part of the team

As our new Project Manager, you will play a key role in leading strategic projects, customer delivery projects, and selected Transfer of Technology (ToT) initiatives. Acting as the link between customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, you will ensure alignment, progress, and successful project execution throughout the entire project lifecycle.

You will lead cross-functional teams in a matrix organization, supporting collaboration across engineering, production, supply chain, and commercial functions. Whether managing customer deliveries, supporting proposal activities, or facilitating knowledge transfer programs, you will help create structure, manage expectations, and secure high-quality outcomes.

In our team, we take pride in developing people and technology. You will become part of the Program Excellence team, a collaborative and supportive group that values knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and strong partnerships. We care about the work we do and the people behind it.

Technical expertise and project management skills are important, but your mindset matters just as much. If you are curious, proactive, culturally aware, and enjoy bringing structure to complex environments while building strong relationships, you could be a great addition to our team.

How you will make a meaningful contribution

In this role, you will contribute to a range of tasks across your area of responsibility. Your key responsibilities include:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and end users, ensuring clear communication and keeping stakeholders informed throughout project execution
    • Lead cross-functional teams in a matrix organization, driving effective collaboration and ensuring successful project delivery within agreed scope, timelines, and budgets
    • Create alignment and commitment across stakeholders by proactively managing targets, uncertainties, and risks, and ensuring timely implementation of corrective actions
    • Support contract negotiations, pricing activities, business case calculations, and offset agreements
    • Take ownership of Transfer of Technology (ToT) processes, maintaining and continuously developing them to support current and future business needs.

Bring your expertise into play

To thrive in this role, we imagine that you bring some of the following qualifications:

    • You hold a bachelor’s degree in Production, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline and have developed a solid technical foundation through relevant industry experience
    • You have pursued a project management career path and bring at least five years of project management experience in a technical environment
    • You possess a strong understanding of production processes for electronics and mechanics, as well as R&D processes and methodologies
    • You have a basic understanding of quality and configuration management within the Security & Defense industry
    • Experience working in an international environment is an advantage, and you can navigate complex stakeholder and political landscapes while demonstrating curiosity and understanding of different cultures and behaviors.

Most importantly, we believe diverse experiences add value to our team and organization. Therefore, we encourage you to apply even if you do not meet all the above requirements.

As we are an international organization, it is important that you are fluent in English both in writing and verbal at a professional level.

Let’s secure people through advanced technology

We believe that different perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds make us stronger. We are committed to creating a more diverse and balanced workplace that reflects the talent and perspectives around us. By creating an inclusive environment with equal opportunities to contribute, grow, and succeed, we aim to broaden our talent pool and strengthen our teams for the future.
