Interim - Telehealth Outpatient Psychiatrist (Wyoming)

About the opportunity

MindCare Solutions is seeking a psychiatrist to provide interim outpatient adult psychiatric coverage for a clinic in Wyoming. This is a chance to keep patients connected to care while maintaining a well-supported schedule. Coverage will be conducted through tele-health with support from MindCare Solutions and client hospital. 

Schedule: Part Time to Full Time (30 to 40 hours per week)

Compensation: Negotiable

Overview

• 30 to 40 hours per week

• Monday through Friday, business hours (Mountain Time)

• Anticipated start in November or December 2026, with coverage continuing through August 2027

What you will do

• Provide outpatient psychiatric evaluations and medication management via telehealth

• See an average of 12 to 14 patients per day, including new patient intakes and follow up visits

• Document encounters and enter medication orders directly in the clinic's EHR (Cerner)

• Work collaboratively with clinic staff to support continuity of care for established patients

Qualifications

• Active Wyoming medical license and DEA required (or ability to obtain one quickly)

• MD strongly preferred. PMHNP candidates must have at least 3 years of experience serving outpatient clinics in Wyoming to meet the client’s requirements.

• Experience in outpatient psychiatry

• Comfort working in a telehealth setting and using an EHR for documentation and orders

• Willingness to complete facility credentialing and onboarding.
