Commitment: We pursue excellence for our team and our talent. Everything in music starts with a leap into the unknown, and we’re committed to keeping the faith, acting with integrity, and delivering on our promises.

The Finance Transformation team is a group of professionals across the WMG organization brought together to re-imagine our processes and systems to establish more standardized and efficient ways of working that will drive WMG’s growth and business aspirations.
Your role:
The OTC Manager holds a global remit and is responsible for defining the future state Order to Cash (OTC) processes and measures that are aligned with organizational strategies, country-specific knowledge, and operational requirements. This process lead will strive to assemble opportunities, reviewing existing and best-practice workflows, tools, and data. The role moves through design, architecture, implementation, release, and steady state with an ongoing focus on continuous improvement and the integration of OTC finance processes into the overall WMG landscape. Specific accountability from revenue to the sales order and billing documents (plus ebilling where required) for digital, physical, D2C, 3rd party licensing and merchandise revenue streams.
Here you’ll get to:
- Support the transformation team by leading cross-functional and virtual teams in the review, design, development, and implementation of global processes and procedures, including customer master data, credit management, order management/billing, accounts receivable (AR), collections, cash application, and revenue recognition.
- Lead process design meetings with internal Subject Matter Resources (SMRs) and third-party vendors through design, implementation, and release.
- Lead technical and operational teams to conduct testing, defect resolution, and ongoing configuration of SAP SD/FI-AR modules and associated sub-systems.
- Be responsible for OTC testing across credit limit setting, billing, cash application, dispute management, credit/debit memo processing, customer statement generation, and collaborate with sales, distribution, and licensing platforms.
- Work closely with the SAP Master Data Management team to ensure customer master data configuration and governance are consistent with global processes.
- Work closely with WMG Tax to solve complex scenarios involving worldwide tax.
- Act as representative for intercompany billing between service centers and transformation.
- Leverage OTC and industry process and systems knowledge/experience to implement standardization of global, regional, and/or local processes, challenging the status quo while taking input from SMRs and program partners to understand required localizations.
- Lead the design, documentation, and ongoing socialization of end-to-end OTC processes.
- Obtain consensus for Finance Transformation from key WMG partners across the globe by credibly communicating deep operating process and systems knowledge and an appreciation of the impact at a local level.
- Attend and/or present in update meetings as required for key decision, issue, and risk points.
- Work with collaborators to ensure Product / Policy / Process / Procedure / System decisions account for territory variances, commercial needs, and local legal/regulatory requirements.
- Partner with IT to identify integration points between commercial/sales operations systems, billing platforms, and core finance systems.
- Partner with people and change management resources to develop job aids, communications, and training approaches to embed new ways of working and systems training for the OTC area.
- Act as a spokesperson across the WMG organization for the benefits delivered by the Finance Transformation in the OTC space.
- Represent the OTC Business Process at individual Fit/Gap sessions in markets to ensure all business requirements are considered (and documented via User Requirements Specification). Ensure that any business needs driving a requirement for customization are strongly challenged and options for process redesign are considered. Where customizations are needed, ensure justification is documented and changes progress via the governance model.
- Update relevant OTC documentation based on changes to the global template (including SOPs, User Guides, and training materials).
- Participate in the preparation of OTC training materials.
- Be responsible for the resolution and review of OTC issues, risks, and business impacts for the owned process.
- Proactively and on an ongoing basis identify internal and external OTC guidelines (e.g., automation in cash application, AI-driven credit scoring, streamlined collections) that will enable improvement of the standard end-to-end process.
About you:
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Business, Finance, Accounting, Business Information Systems, Management Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience focusing on OTC processes (Credit, Collections, Cash Application, Billing, AR) or related finance transformation experience.
- Strong Order to Cash process and systems knowledge, preferably within a music, media, digital licensing, or entertainment industry context.
- Facilitative style, with prior experience leading workshops and engaging collaborators through a series of approaches that require a targeted level of consensus.
- Relevant operational OTC experience supervising credit management, order fulfillment/billing workflows, cash management, dispute resolution, AR ledger management, and internal controls.
- Technically savvy with a robust organizational change skillset.

- Exemplary collaborator engagement and management skills internationally and within complex, multi-faceted organizations.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to perform complex dispute, credit risk, and receivables analysis.
- Ability to develop, articulate, and build support around a long-term OTC vision and implement incremental turning points in support of that vision.
- Team player who can participate and collaborate with varied business units (sales, licensing, supply chain, legal, finance) to effectively implement transformation initiatives.
We’d love it if you also had:
- Transformational leadership experience.
- Media, entertainment, digital distribution, or music industry experience preferred.
- Familiarity with SAP FSCM (Credit Management, Dispute Management, Collections Management) and modern automated cash application tools.
