Job description

Crimson Education is the world’s leading college admissions consulting firm, with over 1,490 Ivy League offers and 2,410 to the US Top 15. We help ambitious students gain admission to the world’s top universities through expert-led guidance and proven, data-driven strategies. Crimson students are 7x more likely to get into the Ivy League than their peers. We were recently featured on the front page of the Wall Street Journal.

Crimson is the only college admissions consultancy that brings together:

  • Former Ivy League and Top 20 admissions officers to rigorously review and refine applications

  • Professors and PhD teaching fellows from leading universities to guide students through original, independent research — with pathways to selective peer-reviewed publication or conference presentation

  • Past ISEF winners and judges who coach students to compete for state, national, and international science fair awards

  • Capstone project mentors who help students design and scale leadership initiatives with real-world impact, measurable outcomes, and credible external validation

We’re backed by leading VC firms, including Tiger Global, Heal Partners, IceHouse Ventures, and Movac, and recently closed a USD $40M Series D funding round at a USD $640M valuation. We now operate across 21 markets worldwide, including the US, Canada, UK, Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, and New Zealand.

Beyond college admissions consulting, Crimson offers a wide range of Enrichment programs designed to help students discover their interests, develop new skills, and achieve meaningful academic and extracurricular accomplishments. As we continue expanding our reach internationally, we're looking for a part-time Brand Partnerships & Growth Specialist to help introduce these programs to new audiences and strengthen their presence in key markets.

The role will initially focus on Indigo Research and Crimson Rise, two of our key Enrichment products. You’ll find creative ways to get them in front of the right students and families — whether through partnerships with leading schools and organizations, media and podcasts, creators, conferences, community placements, events, pop-ups, or other brand activations.

You’ll work closely with our marketing and leadership teams to identify opportunities others might miss and turn them into action. We’re looking for someone with strong existing networks who can open doors, generate ideas independently, and think commercially about how greater visibility can translate into audience growth, leads, and ultimately revenue.

Responsibilities include

Brand Growth & Opportunity Development

  • Identify creative ways to get Indigo and Rise in front of the right audiences – from media, podcasts, and creators to conferences, school and community placements, pop-ups, activations, and other unconventional opportunities.

  • Strengthen Indigo and Rise’s positioning across international markets, adapting ideas and messaging to local audiences while maintaining a consistent global brand.

  • Turn student, mentor, leadership, and company stories into compelling campaigns, content, PR, thought leadership, and other brand-building opportunities.

  • Develop and test creative market-specific ideas that build awareness and credibility, while considering how visibility can translate into audience growth, qualified leads, demand, and revenue.

  • Track results, identify what works, and recommend which channels, ideas, and initiatives we should scale.

Partnerships, Networks & Execution

  • Use your existing network – and continuously expand it – to open doors with journalists, creators, schools, education organizations, event organizers, companies, communities, and other influential partners.

  • Develop creative collaborations such as events, content partnerships, creator campaigns, webinars, competitions, community initiatives, and brand activations.

  • Proactively secure high-value media coverage, podcast appearances, speaking opportunities, conference placements, partnerships, and other forms of brand exposure.

  • Own opportunities end-to-end, from identifying the idea and making the introduction through pitching, execution, follow-up, and measuring impact.

What skills and experience you’ll need

  • 5+ years of experience across brand marketing, partnerships, PR, growth, events, communications, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated experience building brands and creating growth opportunities across international markets.

  • An established, active network in at least one of our priority markets – the US, India, Singapore/Southeast Asia, or the Middle East – with relationships you can genuinely activate to open doors. This could include journalists, media outlets, schools, education organizations, event organizers, creators, influencers, community leaders, or other relevant partners.

  • A track record of independently spotting and creating opportunities – from partnerships and PR to events, creator collaborations, activations, and other forms of meaningful brand exposure.

  • A commercial mindset: not every brand activity needs to generate leads immediately, but you naturally think about how awareness and credibility can ultimately contribute to audience growth, demand, leads, and revenue.

  • Excellent written and spoken English, with strong pitching, storytelling, and communication skills.

  • Strong relationship-building skills and confidence approaching journalists, creators, organizations, partners, and senior external stakeholders.

  • Highly proactive, resourceful, and organized – you can take a broad objective, identify the right opportunity and people, and independently drive it from idea through execution.

What success looks like

  • Indigo and Rise become meaningfully more visible, relevant, and credible in the markets you own.

  • You consistently uncover opportunities we would not have found without you – new partners, creators, media, events, communities, placements, and creative ways to reach our target audiences.

  • Your existing network opens doors quickly, while the network you build becomes an increasingly valuable asset for Indigo and Rise.

  • Your initiatives generate measurable outcomes across brand awareness, audience growth, qualified leads, strategic relationships, and ultimately revenue.

  • You develop a clear understanding of what works in each market, learn quickly from what doesn’t, and scale the strongest ideas.

Why join us

  • Part-time, fully remote role with flexible working hours.

  • Help shape two education brands across multiple international markets.

  • High ownership and the freedom to turn good ideas into real campaigns, partnerships, and events.

  • Work with a global team of ambitious, curious people.
