Job description

Are you passionate about financial controlling and eager to develop your career in an international finance environment? In this role, you will take responsibility for the financial controlling of international subsidiaries while helping shape and improve financial processes across the organization. Come and join us!

We are facing an exciting future with considerable growth and demanding changes. We continue to evolve our advanced technologies and mission critical solutions for the defense and aerospace industry to deliver real-world solutions that matter to the security of people on land, at sea and in the air. Therefore, we are looking for a Financial Controller to become part of this journey and contribute to our overall purpose – securing people through advanced technology.

Your role as part of the team

As our new Financial Controller, you will join a collaborative and dedicated Finance team based in Lystrup. You will take primary responsibility for the financial controlling of a number of international subsidiaries, working closely with finance colleagues and management to ensure high-quality reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with policies and procedures.

In our team we take pride in developing people and technology. You will become part of an ambitious and supportive Finance organization where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement are highly valued. The role combines operational responsibility with opportunities to take a leading role in selected finance transformation initiatives, contribute to process development, and strengthen our internal control environment. We care about the work we do and the people behind it. For the right candidate, this role offers an opportunity to build on a strong audit background and develop further within financial controlling in an international finance organization.

Technical expertise matters, but your mindset matters even more. If you consider yourself curious, analytical, and eager to learn, with a structured approach to solving challenges and building relationships across cultures and functions, you could be a great addition to our team. You are also curious about new technologies and how automation and AI can be used to improve financial controlling, processes and ways of working.

How you will make a meaningful contribution

In this role, you will contribute to a range of tasks across your area of responsibility. Your key responsibilities include:

    • Perform financial controlling, reporting follow-up, and performance analysis for selected international subsidiaries
    • Take responsibility for preparing and coordinating annual audits while ensuring compliance with accounting policies, reporting requirements, and internal controls
    • Support management with financial analysis, insights, and ad hoc controlling activities that enable informed decision-making
    • Contribute to the development, standardization, and continuous improvement of financial controlling processes and ways of working across the Group
    • Support finance transformation initiatives, internal control enhancements, and strategic projects related to process improvements and systems development.

Bring your expertise into play

To thrive in this role, we imagine that you bring some of the following qualifications:

    • Master's degree in Auditing (Cand.merc.aud./CMA) combined with 2–4 years of experience from a recognized audit firm, preferably working with larger or international organizations
    • Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles, internal controls, and financial analysis
    • Experience with ERP systems, reporting tools, and advanced Excel; experience in a Financial Controller role, IFRS, or international organizations is an advantage but not a requirement
    • Ability to work with complex financial data in a structured and detail-oriented manner while communicating effectively in both Danish and English
    • A data-analytical mindset and an interest in using data to identify trends, improve processes and support decision-making are important.

Most importantly, we believe diverse experiences add value to our team and organization. Therefore, we encourage you to apply even if you do not meet all the above requirements.

As we are an international organization, it is important that you are fluent in English both in writing and verbal at a professional level.

Let’s secure people through advanced technology

We believe that different perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds make us stronger. We are committed to creating a more diverse and balanced workplace that reflects the talent and perspectives around us. By creating an inclusive environment with equal opportunities to contribute, grow, and succeed, we aim to broaden our talent pool and strengthen our teams for the future.
