Marketing & Advertising

Customers interacting with brands is a modern way of life. Gone are the days where creating "two-way engagement" is the holy grail of marketing. Consumers have unprecedented access to the brands they are passionate about – and that access is becoming more and more available as each day passes. We know that the simple act of being connected to a brand doesn't mean that the connection is valuable. Enter Limetree. We create meaningful connections between consumers and brands by defining what interactions are important to customers, consulting with brands on how to turn consumer data into actionable insight, creating a powerful story that is relevant to the brand experience, and using technology to collect, learn and deliver on our promise to engage the customer.

Job description

About Limetree
Limetree is a performance-focused marketing agency that blends behavioral science, data, and practical marketing know-how to help organizations say the right thing, to the right people, in ways that actually work.

We specialize in industries where customer interaction is high-value and high-stakes, including healthcare, financial services, and other regulated or complex environments. Our work connects insight to action, using behavioral science and data to inform strategy, creative, and delivery in ways that drive measurable outcomes for our clients.
Limetree has been recognized multiple times on the Inc. 5000 list, named an Inc. Best Workplace, and holds multiple patents that inform our approach to marketing performance, decision-making, and execution.

The Role
In this role, you’ll join Limetree’s lineup of behavioral scientists and work closely with our team on a client project in the healthcare space. You’ll report to our VP of Behavioral Science, collaborating to build strategy and diagnostics, then taking the lead on translating that strategy into designs, copy, and concept work that brings behavioral recommendations to life. You’ll partner with our creative team throughout execution, ensuring behavioral science is meaningfully embedded in final designs, not layered on at the end. You’ll support on market research projects, from study design to descriptive analytics and reporting.

What You’ll Do
Collaborate to develop behavioral science strategies for healthcare clients:
  • Partner with a team of behavioral scientists to design behavior change interventions across digital healthcare products and multichannel healthcare marketing campaigns
  • Apply behavioral science frameworks to complex healthcare problems, with attention to patient and provider behavior, motivation, and barriers
  • Contribute to and develop behavioral science strategies that connect audience insights to actionable intervention design
Lead execution of behavioral science strategy:
  • Own the end-to-end behavioral design process: translate strategy into medium-fidelity communications mocks and copy that bring your behavioral recommendations to life
  • Work with our in-house creative team to ensure final creative incorporates behavioral science best practices
Client-facing behavioral science lead:
  • Present strategy and design rationale to clients in a clear, compelling way
  • Develop decks that translate behavioral science principles into business insights
Support market research projects that lead to actionable business insights:
  • Collaborate with the team to design studies
  • Collaborate to support qualitative research (focus groups, in-depth interviews, UX testing)
  • Conduct basic data analysis on A/B tests and surveys (descriptive statistics, single variable inferential statistics) using survey analysis software
  • Report market research and audience findings that inform and sharpen behavioral strategy
Experience & Skills
We welcome candidates from a range of backgrounds and experiences who bring curiosity, rigor, and a collaborative spirit to their work. Minimum qualifications:
  • Formal behavioral science training
  • At least 1 year of applied behavioral science experience in consulting, marketing, UX, or product design
  • Healthcare experience
  • Proficient in Figma or a comparable design tool creating wireframes and mocks
  • Basic experience with qualitative research, quantitative survey research, and A/B testing using research software beyond Excel (R or JASP, for example)
Location
Limetree is a fully remote U.S.-based company. Due to the nature of our contracts, this role is only open to U.S.-based applicants, and all work must be done in the U.S.

Compensation
Full-time role, base salary of $120,000-$150,000 depending on experience.

Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision coverage; 401(k); Flex PTO and company holidays; quarterly employee perks reimbursement; professional development support; Employee Assistance Program; performance bonus opportunities; and additional recognition and referral incentive programs.
