What You’ll Do:

  • Manage environmental and oil/gas projects from scoping through completion, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget performance. 
  • Oversee and conduct Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs). 
  • Direct soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, soil vapor, and stormwater sampling.
  • Prepare technical reports, permits, and regulatory approvals. 
  • Serve as a key client contact and mentor junior staff. 
  • Support business development and proposal efforts.
  • Regulatory-facing expertise and leadership, preferably with Ohio EPA and ODNR.
  • Experience with Ohio VAP, RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA, and BUSTR frameworks
  • Phase II ESA leadership, environmental sampling, and compliance-driven project work
  • Mentorship, staff supervision, and project/program oversight elements layered into responsibilities

 What You Bring:    


  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related field  
  • 5+ years of environmental consulting experience
  • 2+ years of project management experience 
  • Knowledge of oil and gas industry standards, preference with orphan well experience.
  • Knowledge of civil engineering construction projects and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, contractors, clients, and regulatory agencies throughout project execution.
  • Knowledge of Ohio VAP, and BUSTR with an understanding of RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA
  • Strong communication and technical writing skills 
  • OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER preferred 

Salary Range:

The starting salary range for this position is $100,000 per year, with final compensation determined based on qualifications, experience, and certifications.
