What You Will Do:

  • Support federal clients in improving and modernizing grants management operations across the grants lifecycle, with a focus on evaluating and enhancing grant application screening and review processes.
  • Support the evaluation of AI-enabled solutions designed to enhance grants management activities, including grant application screening, review, compliance assessment, and quality assurance processes.
  • Analyze federal grants policies, program requirements, review criteria, and supporting guidance to translate business needs into structured evaluation frameworks and documented requirements.
  • Gather, document, and validate business, functional, and operational requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, document reviews, and collaborative working sessions.
  • Assess grants management processes, operating models, policies, and program requirements to identify risks, opportunities, gaps, and actionable recommendations.
  • Conduct analyses and quality reviews to enhance operational effectiveness, compliance, consistency, and program outcomes.
  • Develop and execute evaluation approaches to assess AI-generated outputs and support human review activities that validate accuracy, consistency, quality, and alignment with policy requirements.
  • Support business transformation initiatives through requirements gathering, policy analysis, technology evaluation, quality assurance, automation, and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Develop strategic and operational deliverables, including requirements documentation, policy analyses, evaluation criteria, testing approaches, findings reports, recommendations, presentations, training materials, and client communications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to manage priorities, drive project execution, and achieve client objectives.
  • Own and deliver high-quality work products while contributing to a collaborative, client-focused consulting team.

What You Will Need:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust; Candidates with an active Public Trust or suitability are preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • FIVE (5) or more years of experience in consulting, project management, business analysis, policy analysis, grants management, quality assurance, or a related field; public sector experience and grants management experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to assess policies, requirements, business processes, and operational data; identify risks and opportunities; and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Experience analyzing policies, regulations, business requirements, review criteria, or program guidance and translating them into operational processes, evaluation criteria, or technical requirements.
  • Experience gathering, documenting, validating, and managing business and functional requirements.
  • Experience supporting quality assurance, evaluation criteria, testing, validation, or review activities.
  • Experience developing structured documentation, standard operating procedures, evaluation frameworks, technical documentation, or implementation guidance.
  • Ability to synthesize complex information and communicate clear, well-supported findings through executive presentations, reports, requirements documents, policy analyses, and client deliverables.
  • Strong consulting skills, including structured problem solving, attention to detail, executive communication, stakeholder management, deliverable development, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced client environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, collaborate across teams, and deliver high-quality work in fast-paced client environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing, facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and development of client-ready deliverables.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Teams, and SharePoint.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience supporting federal grants programs, including knowledge of grant application review, eligibility determination, grants administration, grants operations, monitoring, compliance, and oversight activities.
  • Experience working with federal government clients.
  • Experience supporting process modernization, workflow automation assessments, AI-enabled solution evaluations, business requirements gathering, and technology implementation initiatives.
  • Experience supporting AI, automation, decision-support, or emerging technology assessments in regulated, compliance-focused, or federal environments.
  • Experience developing test cases, evaluation criteria, quality review frameworks, validation approaches, or performance assessment methodologies.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and utilizing tools such as Jira, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
  • Experience leading teams, coordinating stakeholders, and managing workstreams in support of client engagements.
The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
