Job Title: Channel Account Manager (Virtual - USA)

The Role:
As the Channel Account Manager, you will be pivotal in managing the post-sales relationship between Solera, T-Mobile employees, and their customers. Your main responsibility will be to provide exemplary post-sales support to T-Mobile customers while assisting the Solera Channel Sales Team. This role demands regular communication with the Sales Director and Regional Sales Managers to ensure customer account health and promote retention. You will leverage your expertise in Solera/Spireon products to meet company sales objectives and gather valuable customer and market insights.


What You’ll Do:

  • Investigate solution needs and assess onboarding training to ensure a seamless launch into FleetLocate Software.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Solera’s suite of services and applications offered through T-Mobile, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
  • Engage with customers both in-person and virtually pursue specific account objectives.
  • Design targeted evaluation plans demonstrating how Solera can meet customer needs.
  • Address customer issues and complaints promptly, providing solutions or next steps towards resolution.
  • Showcase Solera applications and effectively communicate the value they bring to each customer interaction.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop solutions that meet customer specifications and advance sales opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce and other reporting tools regarding essential customer information.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Proven experience in negotiating new business opportunities.
  • Exceptional sales skills and experience working with channel partners (resellers).
  • Familiarity with the transportation or logistics industries is preferred.
  • Strong ability to communicate clear value propositions to senior leadership.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Schedule onboarding training for new business customers and provide follow-up training for existing customers.
  • Conduct demo presentations and collaborate with legal, finance, and operations teams to streamline changes to customer accounts (renewals, migrations, upgrades, etc.).
  • Escalate issues in accordance with company policy and utilize Salesforce.com to manage organized sales processes with quality operational performance.
  • Respond to all emails and voicemails professionally and promptly.
  • Meet and exceed quantitative and qualitative goals.
  • Participate in Partner Business Review meetings (PBR) and respond to NPS cases while conducting customer health checks.
  • Manage time effectively to meet personal goals and work collaboratively with other members of the sales team.
  • Align with Channel leadership to develop messaging, standardized presentations, and sales processes.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Communication, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: 2+ years of sales/account management experience or in B2B environments.
  • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Strong communication skills with experience in cultivating a current account base.
  • Previous work experience in a channel/partner environment is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to present software and solutions through online meetings.
  • Proficient in corporate productivity and web presentation tools.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong listening and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and focus on quality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
