Function: Customer Development

Reports to: Associate Director Sobeys, Metro, McKesson - PC/B&W

Location: Montreal

Términos & Condiciones: Full Time – Hybrid model (3 days at office and 2 HO)


Job Description


Responsible for managing Unilever's Regional Drug business with McKesson and affiliated banners (Uniprix), delivering NSV and profitability targets through joint business planning, assortment management, promotional strategy, trade investment management, customer negotiations, and cross-functional execution. The KAM partners closely with CSP, Category Management, Shopper Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Customer Operations to drive category growth and strengthen customer relationships. Based in Canada and reporting to the Regional Drug leadership team.


WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE?


• Establish strong relationships with customer
• Develop the customer strategic business plan and deliver it internally and externally
• Develop and implement optimal integrated promo plan (incl. selling the plan at the customer) and manage promo investment budgets
• Manage the customer P&L and investment
• Lead for the annual contracts with customer
• Monitor Customer Performance by tracking customer contribution and market share for major categories
• Act as active ambassador of Unilever at the customer and of the customer at Unilever
• Work in close collaboration with the extended team members to find the best solutions for the business
• Drive best practice sharing with the broader team
• Manage the internal basics processes (Forecast, Pricing, Promo4Growth, etc.) for customer

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE YOU SHOULD HAVE


• Fluent French and English (non-negotiable)

- Minimum relevant professional commercial 1 to 3 years (marketing and/or Customer Development)
• Experience in sales and providing solutions
• Able to work in cross functional teams. (Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Int. Ops)
• Team player
• Strong consumer and customer focus / strong at customer contact.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships
• Good negotiator: able to influence, also in informal decision structures.
• Data driven business with owner’s mindset and creative entrepreneurial spirit
• A person that easily connects, loves to embark on consulting assignments and has high energy levels.
• High capacity to prioritize and focus on meaningful deliverables
• Very well organized
• Act with Unilever’s standards of leadership; respect, responsibility, Integrity and pioneering
• External Orientation (look outside Unilever; be innovative) and entrepreneurial drive.


OTHER REQUIREMENTS


• Bachelor’s in business
• Strong knowledge of Excel and Power Point
• Work from home and office as per our Hybrid Policy
• This role is based in Montreal


Pay: The pay range for this position is $84,900-$105,000. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. 


Bonus: This position is bonus eligible. 


Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
