Job Description

We are looking for a creative and skilled Middle/Senior 2D Artist to join our team working on Disney Magic Kingdoms.

As part of a cross-specialization team, you will contribute to the creation and evolution of game content  from early concepts to polished in-game and promotional assets.

Your main artistic direction will be 2D generalist work, including concept art, promotional art, and casual/cartoon-style assets.

Daily power-ups

  • Create concept art for props, environments, isometric buildings, and decorative elements;
  • Design icons, currencies, and other UI assets;
  • Produce promotional artwork, including complex scenes, characters, and backgrounds;
  • Develop visual ideas from initial sketches through polished final concepts;
  • Prepare concepts and visual references for 3D production;
  • Review 3D assets and provide artistic feedback to help ensure consistency with the original concept.

Your allies

You will work closely with 3D Artists, Game Designers, UI Artists, and other members of the development team, collaborating across disciplines to bring new game content to life.

Leveling up

You will have the opportunity to work across different types of 2D art, strengthen your concept and promotional art skills, collaborate with experienced specialists, and contribute to a globally recognized Disney game.

Your next level

This role is a great match for an experienced 2D Artist who enjoys combining concept development, casual stylization, promotional artwork, and collaboration with 3D production within a live mobile game.

YOUR TOOLKIT

  • Strong understanding of light, value, color, and composition, with the ability to confidently apply these principles in practice;
  • Practical experience with concept art and design principles;
  • Experience working with casual and/or cartoon art styles;
  • Basic knowledge of 3D tools, at least for creating blockouts during the concept stage;
  • Ability to generate, develop, and communicate original visual ideas;
  • Strong creative and problem-solving mindset;
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams;
  • Ability to organize your work and meet production deadlines;
  • Previous experience working on mobile games.

YOUR PLAYER PROFILE

  • Middle or Senior level experience as a 2D Artist / Concept Artist / 2D Generalist;
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating relevant concept art, casual/cartoon artwork, and visual design skills;
  • Advanced 3D skills would be a plus;
  • Formal education in Fine Arts, Design, or a related field would be a plus;
  • Understanding of the mobile games market, visual trends, and player expectations would be an advantage.
