Job description

Our Story

TopDog Law is a nationally scaling personal injury firm that owns the client experience end to end, from marketing and intake through litigation. We've grown 2-3x year over year for three years running, and we're now building the operations, systems, and teams to scale without sacrificing quality or culture. We're fully remote, and we value ownership, open communication, and speed. If you want to help build something exceptional, you'll feel at home here.

The Opportunity

We are hiring a Litigation Attorney who knows how to issue spot, problem solve, and think creatively to best serve our clients. Our top performers are organized, strategic thinkers, and passionate about helping regular people maximize the value of their cases. We challenge insurance companies to be fair with our injured clients.

What You Will Own

  • Case Evaluation: Review and assess the merits of clients’ Personal Injury claims by analyzing records, documents, and evidence to determine validity and potential value
  • Legal Representation: Represent clients in Personal Injury matters, including depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials. Prepare and file claims, petitions, and other legal documents, and advocate for clients before courts and agencies
  • Legal Strategy: Develop and implement effective strategies to protect clients’ rights and interests. Conduct legal research, analyze medical records, gather evidence, and negotiate with insurance companies to achieve favorable settlements
  • Client Communication: Maintain consistent communication with clients, providing updates, explaining legal processes, and advising them on their rights and options
  • Medical and Vocational Assessment: Collaborate with medical and vocational experts to evaluate the extent of injuries, their impact on clients’ ability to work, and appropriate compensation levels
  • Litigation: Handle disputed or denied claims through litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and courtroom advocacy
  • Case Management: Organize and maintain case files, track deadlines, coordinate with medical providers and experts, and oversee related legal and administrative tasks
  • Ethical Standards: Uphold professional ethics, confidentiality, and compliance with all applicable rules and regulations
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, or outcomes—not just following existing playbooks

  • 5 - 10 years of experience in Personal Injury law
  • Strong communication, negotiation, research, and writing skills

  • Knowledge of Arizona laws, regulations, and procedures required
  • Must be located in or near the State of Arizona
  • Strong communication skills—written and verbal
  • Ability to think critically, prioritize effectively, and execute with speed

Preferred (Nice to Have):

  • Active Admission to one or more districts of Arizona Federal Court
  • Experience in a fast-growing or high-volume environment
  • Comfort with ambiguity and evolving systems
