Job description

About Breaktime Media

We help shoppers figure out what to buy and where to buy it. We build highly personalized, engaging content for the world's biggest CPG brands, with a focus on commerce conversion. Our work runs across retail media networks, brand sites, and loyalty ecosystems, and it reaches millions of shoppers making real decisions.

The role

Breaktime is scaling, and our most ambitious work sits in promotions, loyalty hubs, retail media work and new innovation programs. We ran roughly 30 of these programs this year, they keep getting bigger, and the appetite from our brand partners is only growing. These are the programs that move the needle for our clients and for us.

We're building a dedicated program management role to match that ambition. You will own how these programs get executed: the plan, the deadlines, the dependencies, and the accountability that makes it all come together. Not the client relationship and not the creative, but the operating system across it all.

You will report to our Associate Director, Program Management, who will train you directly and work with you to build out a focused process and ramp you up on a set of programs. You will have real ownership from the start, and room to shape how this function works as we grow.

What you'll own

  • End to end program management for promotions, sweepstakes, loyalty hubs, omni retail media programs and custom programs that go beyond our standard content units
  • Building and maintaining program timelines, from sold to live to wrap, with clear owners and dates at every step
  • Task ownership across internal teams, so client services, creative, marketing and development all know what they owe and when
  • Running program status meetings and keeping stakeholders honest about risk before it becomes a problem
  • Partnering with client services on kickoff calls and status calls for our most complex programs
  • Promotional terms and legal review deadlines, making sure nothing goes live without the right approvals in place
  • Prize sourcing, ordering, and fulfillment tracking for sweepstakes and giveaways
  • Facilitate and oversee Receipt Verification approval process, monitoring operations to ensure smooth program performance and reward delivery
  • Documenting how we run programs, so the second one is easier than the first and the tenth is easy for anyone

What we're looking for

  • 3 to 5 years of project or program management experience, ideally in marketing, retail media, promotions, or agency environments
  • A track record of running multiple concurrent projects with real deadlines and multiple stakeholders
  • Comfort with promotional mechanics: sweepstakes, contests, rebates, loyalty offers, and the legal and operational requirements that come with them
  • Strong written communication, because most of this job is making sure people know what is expected of them
  • Someone who chases loose ends without being asked and follows up without being annoying
  • Calm under pressure, and willing to raise a hand early when something is off track
  • Experience with project management tools (ex: Atlassian, Asana or similar) and a bias toward making process simpler, not heavier

Nice to have

  • CPG or retailer experience, especially with Walmart, Target, Kroger, or Amazon programs
  • Familiarity with loyalty platforms or shopper marketing programs
  • Experience building a process from scratch rather than inheriting one
  • CAPM or PMP certification
