About the Client
Our client builds foundational technology and operational capabilities for organizations in sectors including AI, venture capital, healthcare, and infrastructure. Its work spans systems architecture, platform engineering, mission-critical infrastructure, and embedded strategy and operations for investment firms.
In this role, you'll work closely with a real estate client, supporting the Yardi platform used by its property management, development, and corporate teams. The client's teams rely on Yardi for property operations, accounting, budgeting, reporting, and related workflows across a multifamily portfolio.
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Yardi Support Analyst to provide advanced application support to property management, development, and corporate teams.
This is a hands-on, client-facing role that combines escalated troubleshooting with Yardi configuration, user support and training, reporting, and platform improvement. You will also contribute to Yardi implementations and reimplementations, support connected applications, and work with business and finance teams to ensure the platform meets operational and reporting needs.
Responsibilities
- Own and resolve complex Yardi support requests submitted through the ticketing system, email, and phone. Clarify the request, assess its impact, and keep users informed through resolution.
- Manage support cases from intake through closure, meeting agreed response and resolution expectations and escalating issues when needed.
- Configure Yardi and set up new locations or business units in response to approved business requests.
- Support the Yardi platform and related applications, including RentCafe, Rent Maximizer, Procure to Pay, Yardi Accounting, Yardi Budgeting, Residential, Commercial, and Job Cost.
- Create and maintain custom and ad hoc reports using Yardi, Microsoft Excel, SQL Server, and SSRS.
- Design accounting, development, and operational reports in response to business needs, including requests from senior finance leadership.
- Troubleshoot reporting and data issues, maintain data accuracy, and use analysis to identify root causes and recommend solutions.
- Identify recurring support requests and lead root cause analysis to reduce repeat issues through system improvements, documentation, or user training.
- Support document automation solutions and improve Yardi performance and functionality to meet business objectives.
- Deliver remote training and guidance to users through web meetings and other appropriate channels.
- Keep Yardi documentation, procedures, standards, policies, checklists, and best practices current and accessible to internal teams.
- Proactively communicate platform status, significant issues, risks, and resolution progress to management.
- Partner with property management and accounting teams to lead the rollout, implementation, and reimplementation of Yardi modules and related interfaces.
- Assist Asset Managers with annual asset business plans, operating budgets, and capital budgets, and help monitor actual performance against budgets throughout the year.
- Work flexibly with other teams and take on related responsibilities as organizational needs evolve.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of hands-on Yardi experience supporting property management and development operations, preferably in a multifamily environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
- Strong experience with Yardi configuration, application support, and user administration.
- Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server, including database management and stored procedure creation.
- Experience creating and maintaining reports with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), including report layout.
- Advanced proficiency with Yardi, SQL, and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to maintain data integrity and use data to identify and solve problems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users and present clear analysis to senior management.
- Ability to manage competing requests, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a structured corporate environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, service-oriented approach.
- Demonstrated initiative, integrity, sound judgment, and ownership.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Yardi implementations, reimplementations, or rollouts across multiple properties or business units.
