Job Summary

Recruiter

The Recruiter is responsible for full-cycle recruitment efforts, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection of internal and external candidates. This role partners closely with hiring leaders across the organization to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies for administrative and clinical positions.

We are looking for a relationship-focused, resourceful, and creative recruiter who takes initiative, brings new ideas to the table, and enjoys finding solutions to challenges. The successful candidate will be able to work independently while collaborating effectively with others, follow established processes while identifying opportunities for improvement, and build strong relationships with both internal and external customers.

What You’ll Bring

You don't have to know everything on day one. We’re looking for someone who is curious, adaptable, and eager to learn—someone who enjoys working with others, brings ideas to the table, and looks for ways to make things better.

The ideal candidate:

  • Takes initiative and is comfortable moving work forward while knowing when to ask questions or seek guidance.
  • Brings new ideas and creative approaches to recruiting and talent acquisition.
  • Can follow established processes while recognizing opportunities to improve and streamline how work gets done.
  • Enjoys figuring things out and finding practical solutions when faced with new or unexpected challenges.
  • Builds positive, collaborative relationships with internal and external customers, candidates, hiring leaders, and community partners.
  • Communicates clearly, listens well, and works effectively with a variety of people and perspectives.
  • Works well independently while being a supportive and engaged team member.
  • Is organized, dependable, and follows through on commitments.
  • Is open to feedback, willing to learn, and continuously looks for ways to grow.
  • Brings a positive attitude, creativity, and a solutions-focused mindset to their work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Full-cycle recruitment process from initial candidate engagement through offer and onboarding handoff.
  • Build strong candidate relationships by providing a professional, respectful, responsive, and positive candidate experience.
  • Partner with hiring leaders to understand staffing needs, clarify position requirements, and develop effective recruiting strategies.
  • Develop creative and proactive sourcing strategies to identify qualified candidates, including passive candidates.
  • Recruit for clinical and administrative positions with an understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of healthcare recruitment.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines through social media, job boards, professional networking, employee referrals, community organizations, colleges, high schools, and other sourcing channels.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external organizations and educational institutions to expand talent pipelines.
  • Serve as a recruiting resource and partner to hiring leaders, providing recommendations, market insight, and solutions to recruiting challenges.
  • Coordinate interviews and ensure timely, clear communication between candidates and hiring leaders.
  • Utilize recruiting tools and assessment resources appropriately to evaluate candidate qualifications.
  • Maintain accurate and timely candidate information and recruitment activity within the ATS and other recruitment databases.
  • Monitor recruiting activity and proactively communicate the status of open positions, challenges, and opportunities to the Talent Acquisition Manager.
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, workflows, sourcing strategies, and the overall candidate experience.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Manager and HR team to evaluate processes and implement improvements that support efficient and effective recruitment.
  • Maintain knowledge of healthcare recruiting trends, sourcing strategies, and talent market conditions.
  • Ensure recruiting practices comply with applicable employment laws, organizational policies, and established best practices.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and service when interacting with candidates, hiring leaders, employees, community partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years of healthcare recruiting experience, with demonstrated experience recruiting for hard-to-fill clinical and/non-clinical positions.
  • Demonstrated experience managing the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and offer management.
  • Experience developing and implementing recruiting strategies to attract both active and passive candidates.
  • Experience utilizing a variety of sourcing methods, including social media, job boards, professional networking, employee referrals, community partnerships, colleges, and other talent pipelines.
  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with candidates, hiring leaders, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate situations, identify solutions, and determine appropriate next steps.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently while knowing when to ask questions or seek guidance.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Ability to follow established processes and procedures while identifying opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a cross-functional team.
