About Aspira

For more than 40 years, Aspira has been the market-leading provider of software and services that help public agencies protect natural and cultural resources while making them accessible for all. Our platform supports everything from campground reservations to hunting licenses, helping millions of people discover, enjoy, and care for the outdoors.

We share our client partners’ mission: to steward resources for future generations, create opportunities for genuine enjoyment of the outdoors today, and expand access so more people can experience its benefits.

Aspira is transforming its technology and service model to give agencies more capacity and insight—streamlined tools, smarter automation, and better connections with their communities. Our goal is simple: make it easier for our clients to conserve what matters most and for their customers to enjoy it to the fullest.

The Ideal Candidate

The Client Delivery Project Manager (PM) is a versatile, technically fluent, client-focused project management role responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering work across the full client lifecycle. This includes RFPs, contracting, implementations, platform transitions, production migrations, renewals, and ad hoc client initiatives.

As part of Aspira's PMO, Client Delivery Project Managers act as the operational backbone for client-facing work, partnering closely with Account Management, Product, Engineering, Transition, Implementation, Legal, Finance, and Leadership. They bring clarity to complex efforts, reduce risk during periods of change, and continuously improve how Aspira delivers for clients.

Key Responsibilities

Implementation & Platform Migration Management

  • Own a variety of implementation projects end-to-end, including feature implementations for existing clients, new client implementations, new platform migrations, and client transition-out projects.
  • Lead project kickoffs and maintain a regular governance cadence, including status calls, risk and issue tracking, and executive updates, to keep stakeholders aligned throughout each project.
  • Maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and dependency tracking across all implementation, migration, and transition-out work.
  • Identify risks, blockers, and decision points early; escalate and drive resolution to maintain momentum.
  • Manage change requests when project work expands beyond the signed Scope of Work, keeping the client and internal teams aligned on the impact to scope and timeline.
  • Coordinate end-user training, communication, and enablement materials so client teams feel confident and equipped to adopt new features, platforms, or transitions at go-live.
  • Own user acceptance testing coordination and go-live readiness sign-off, including a post-launch hypercare period to confirm stability before formal project close.
  • Ensure every implementation, migration, or transition-out project is organized, predictable, and client-centered.

End-to-End Client Lifecycle Management

  • Create a cohesive, consistent client experience across the full lifecycle, from RFP through implementation, migration, renewal, and (if needed) transition-out, coordinating with Aspira's internal teams throughout.
  • Serve as a continuity anchor for clients, ensuring smooth handoffs between lifecycle phases and teams.
  • Partner closely with Account Management to translate contracts, statements of work, and commitments into actionable, sequenced project plans, and maintain a strong working relationship with the client partnership team throughout.
  • Support ad hoc client initiatives by applying consistent project management practices to maintain predictability and quality.

RFP & Proposal Execution

  • Lead RFPs as formal projects, responsible for planning, sequencing, and execution.
  • Coordinate cross-functional contributors (Account Management, Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Leadership).
  • Assign writers and reviewers, track inputs and dependencies, and manage deadlines.
  • Review and edit responses for clarity, consistency, and alignment with client needs.
  • Plan and coordinate demos, including scoping, scripting, scheduling, and readiness tracking.
  • Continuously improve RFP processes through templates, standards, and repeatable workflows.

Revenue Growth & Upsell

  • Support upsell of previously released modules within the existing client base, partnering with Account Management to identify adoption gaps and build the case for expansion.
  • Create and maintain project templates for enabling existing modules, so features that have already been built can be turned on quickly without a full new implementation cycle.
  • Track module adoption across the client base and use that data to help prioritize which upsell opportunities to pursue next.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Act as a central point of coordination across Product, Engineering, Implementation, Transition, Account Management, and external partners.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and third-party partners involved in implementation or migration work, ensuring their deliverables stay aligned with the overall project timeline and scope.
  • Take ownership of resolving cross-team conflicts in priority or timing.
  • Maintain clarity around ownership, expectations, and timelines across all workstreams.

Documentation, Standards & Operational Excellence

  • Document end-to-end client lifecycle and implementation workflows for internal reference and onboarding.
  • Establish and maintain templates, playbooks, timelines, and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate, current project documentation, client records, and delivery artifacts so every project stays organized and easy to hand off.
  • Follow Aspira's PMO-established standards, templates, and processes, while contributing frontline project experience back into the PMO to continuously refine and enhance those methods.
  • Drive continuous improvement across internal workflows and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional projects such as RFPs, implementations, migrations, or transitions.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and process improvement skills.
  • Comfortable coordinating across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Clear, confident communicator with strong client-facing skills.
  • Adaptable, emotionally intelligent, and able to thrive in an evolving environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technical concepts and systems, and to take ownership without waiting for direction.
  • Prior experience implementing or supporting SaaS platforms (implementation, onboarding, or platform migration work).
  • Working knowledge of data migration concepts: environment tiers (DEV/QA/UAT/PROD), data validation and reconciliation, cutover, and rollback planning.
  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including sprint or release cycles, backlog and ticket management, and QA/testing phases, sufficient to plan around and coordinate effectively with Product and Engineering.
  • Comfort reading and translating technical documentation, such as tickets, release notes, and migration plans, for non-technical stakeholders.

Desired Hardware and Software Competencies

  • Proficiency in Monday.com or an equivalent project management platform for day-to-day project management.
  • Proficiency in Jira, used to track engineering-owned work such as tickets and releases.
  • Experience with Confluence, Microsoft 365, or similar tools.

Desired Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification.
  • 3-5 years of project management, program management, or client delivery experience (SaaS, GovTech, services, or large-scale change initiatives preferred).
  • Exposure to system implementations or platform migrations requiring careful documentation and cross-team coordination.
  • Experience supporting RFP responses, proposal writing, or account growth and upsell initiatives.
  • Experience working within a PMO or standardized project governance structure.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices; Scrum Master or related certification a plus.
