Job description

Build, maintain and execute project plans to critical enterprise technology platforms, programs and projects from start to post-launch stabilization.

At Green Mountain Technology, we help large, complex shippers reduce costs, enhance delivery experiences, and build sustainable competitive advantages through technology, analytics, and logistics expertise.

We are seeking a Technology Project Manager to support our enterprise technology initiatives and platform rollouts from requirements through post-launch stabilization. You will partner with Product, Software Engineering, Operations, Customer Success, Sales, and external vendors to scope the work, keep it on track, and make sure new capabilities land well with our customers. The ideal candidate is a hands-on project leader who builds trust quickly, leads without authority, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director of Enterprise Program Management.

What You’ll Do

  • Support critical enterprise technology platform initiatives, projects and programs from requirements and scoping through deployment, adoption, and post-launch stabilization.
  • Build and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and resource plans, and keep stakeholders current on status, risks, and decisions.
  • Run cross-functional calls with Product, Software Engineering, Operations, Customer Success, and Sales that end with documented decisions, owners, and due dates.
  • Manage external implementation partners, consultants, and software vendors to agreed scope, schedule, and quality expectations.
  • Support customer product onboarding, platform migrations, and customer data migration efforts — planning, execution, validation, and issue resolution.
  • Coordinate testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment readiness, and stakeholder sign-off before anything goes live.
  • Support product launches, beta programs, pilot deployments, and feature rollouts, including the training, communications, and adoption work that makes them stick.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate schedule, scope, resource, vendor, and data risks, and escalate critical issues early with recommended options.
  • Serve as the trusted point of coordination for customers during implementations and rollouts, and drive fast resolution of customer-impacting issues.
  • Monitor adoption metrics and post-launch performance, and bring customer feedback back to Product to shape future enhancements.
  • Build and maintain implementation playbooks, deployment procedures, lessons learned, and project documentation in Confluence, Jira, and Miro.
  • Find better ways to deliver — repeatable rollout methods, automation, and process improvements that reduce implementation risk and onboarding friction.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of project management experience leading technology or business transformation initiatives.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Experience leading at least one enterprise software implementation from requirements through post-launch stabilization.
  • Experience managing projects involving 3+ cross-functional teams and at least one external vendor or implementation partner.
  • Experience leading at least one data migration or system integration project, such as a legacy-to-cloud transition or a master data cleanup.
  • Hands-on experience planning and executing UAT, end-user training, change management, and adoption tracking.
  • Working knowledge of Agile, hybrid, and traditional (waterfall) delivery methods, and the judgment to know when each fits.
  • Working knowledge of SaaS platforms, enterprise applications, and cloud-based technologies.
  • Hands-on use of Jira and Confluence on active projects.
  • A proven ability to lead without authority and gain alignment across executives, customers, and vendors.
  • Strong written and verbal communication — concise status reports and confident presentations to executive and customer audiences.
  • Sharp critical thinking and a habit of tracing problems to their root cause rather than treating symptoms.
  • Self-motivation and an outcome orientation, driven by timelines — you manage multiple concurrent projects with limited supervision.

What Will Set You Apart

  • 2+ years in shipping logistics, parcel, supply chain, or parcel optimization consulting.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master, or comparable certification.
  • A track record of recovering a challenged project (behind schedule, over budget, or off scope) and bringing it back on plan.
  • Experience supporting a product launch, beta program, or phased customer rollout.
  • Customer-facing implementation experience with a SaaS provider or consulting firm.
  • Working experience with Miro or a similar collaboration tool.
